Amazing Year Enjoy Your Day Card
I received this lovely swap card from Ruth Bingle. She featured the sweet Amazing Year stamp set, which is perfect for birthdays or thinking of you cards.
Background Basics—Ruth started by die-cutting a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Dots & Spots Die, then adhering it to a Polished Pink card base. Next, she used one of the pretty dies from the Fabulous Frames Dies set to cut both the outer Polished Pink decorative frame and a Basic White inner layer for stamping. She adhered the frame to the card front with Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
Bouquet For Today—Ruth stamped the Amazing Year image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto that inner Basic White piece. Then, she colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers, using light Granny Apple Green for the leaves and stems and both light & dark Polished Pink for the flowers. She added the cute little "Enjoy Your Day" tag in Memento Black, then adhered it inside the frame.
Finishing Touches—Ruth tied a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow and attached it with more Multipurpose Glue. She also added a couple of Iridescent Pearl Jewels. Lovely!

Nancy Spence created this delightful card in one of my recent swaps. I love her use of the stamped elements on the background!
Background Basics—Nancy stamped the two Full of Love small flower images in Fresh Freesia ink all over the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. Next, she stamped the image with a letter several times in Fresh Freesia onto scraps of Fresh Freesia, cutting them out an popping them up in the center of the card to create a unique foundation for the focal point.
Envelope Bouquet—Nancy stamped the Full of Love bouquet image in Memento Black ink onto Basic White and colored it with Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight and Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Markers. She trimmed it out with Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—She stamped the Full of Love sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink onto a 1/2" strip of Basic White, banner cut the ends and adhered that over the envelope.
Finishing Touches—Nancy added an Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels to the flower center for some sparkle. She also tied a bow with the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and attached it with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. So pretty!
