Kelly's Way To Goat Greatest of All Time Card
If you're a fan of whimsical and punny stamp sets, the Way To Goat stamp set is a great option! I received a couple of adorable swap cards with this set and I loved how simple, easy and extra-cute they were! This first card was created by Kelly Acheson.
Background Basics—Kelly began with a 11" x 4-1/4" Thick Whisper White card base, scored at the 5-1/2" mark. She added some Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper measuring 5-1/4" x 4" to the card front. She tied some White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the card front into a bow for some light and airy texture.
Focal Point—Kelly stamped the Way To Goat image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White and cut it out with super-sharp Paper Snips. She popped it up onto a Granny Apple Green Stitched Shapes circle and layered it onto a Night of Navy Layering Circles scalloped die-cut. Before popping up the layers onto the card front, she tucked in the sentiment label...
Sweet Sentiment—The labels were created using the new Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. The Whisper White strip is about 5/8" wide and the Granny Apple Green strip is about 3/4" wide. They are each punched with one of the two label end shapes from the punch. The Way To Goat sentiment is stamped in Granny Apple Green and the layers are popped up with Dimensionals.
Connie's Way To Goat Birthday Card
I love the sentiment on this one...especially for the "over the hill" crowd! Connie Babbert created this adorable card!
Background Basics—Connie started with a 3" x 4" layer of Crumb Cake cardstock that she stamped with the Way To Goat sentiment in Early Espresso ink. She layered that onto a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" Early Espresso cardstock layer. Then she added a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper. She wrapped some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the layers before mounting them onto a Bumblebee card base.
Goat Focal Point—Connie stamped the Way To Goat image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White and punched it out with the 2" Circle Punch. She used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers to color him in, along with a little Flirty Flamingo for his cheeks. So cute! She finished by stamping the shadow image from the set under the goat in Bumblebee ink. It's layered onto an Early Espresso Layering Circles shape and popped up with Dimensionals.
She also colored the Rhinestone Jewel with Soft Suede Dark Blends and added a little sparkle by the sentiment.
