Forever Greenery Friendship Is A Blessing Cards
My favorite card from my Double Sheet Wonder Class is this pretty gate-fold card...the perfect way to really feature the gorgeous foliage patterns in the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper! My class kit will provide one of three pairs of coordinating papers and these three examples show you that each pair of patterns looks amazing together! Let's take a closer look...
Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Garden Green card stock, scored at the 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" marks. I met the ends of the gate-fold so they were nice and flush before using my Bone Folder to crease the folds into place. Next, I adhered two patterns of Forever Greenery DSP measuring 2" x 5-1/4" to the front panels.
Focal Point—I stamped the So Sentimental greeting in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" Whisper White layer first. Then, I stamped the pretty Forever Fern leaves image in Pear Pizzazz several times across the bottom. I layered the stamped piece onto a Pretty Peacock die-cut from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Before mounting onto the left front panel with Dimensionals, I tied some Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible Ribbon around the layers.
Finishing Touches—There are some beautiful trims and ribbons that come in the Forever Greenery suite, but at the moment, they are backordered. I substituted the Reversible Ribbon because it has an elegant gold shimmer to it that works so well with the suite. I also choose some Gold Glitter Gems accents to match the ribbon and they look so, so lovely around the leaves.
Two Cool—Here's a closer look at the second pair of DSP. I created the card exactly the same as the first card and it looks equally amazing!
Three Cool—I especially love the bluish patterns from the third pair of Forever Greenery DSP. Again, every part of the card is identical, so you can see that it doesn't matter which pair you end up with...it all looks gorgeous!
