Forever Fern Healing Hugs Card
Judy Garza sent this simple & sweet get well card combining the Forever Fern and Healing Hugs stamp sets. I love how clean and simple it is...so striking!
Background Basics—Judy's card begins by stamping a Healing Hugs sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink along the bottom of a Thick Whisper White card base.
Focal Point—The focal point features four Whisper White die-cuts from the Stitched Rectangles dies. Judy stamped a Forever Fern leaves image on each rectangle in different colors: Garden Green, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock. The rectangles are adhered to a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Old Olive and mounted onto the card front. She finished by tying some Ornate Garden Old Olive Ribbon around the card front. What a fun, quick card!
Forever Greenery Paper Hugs Card
I received this swap card from Lynn Streifert and it makes good use of several items from the Forever Greenery Suite. She combined the Forever Fern stamp set with the Comfort & Hope stamp set for a get well card.
Background Basics—Lynn's card begins with a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock that she embossed with on of the Greenery Folders on the right side. She adhered a 2" x 5-1/8" piece of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper on the left side before mounting it onto a Soft Sea Foam card base.
Sweet Sentiment—Lynn stamped the Forever Fern leaves image in stamped-off Pear Pizzazz onto a Whisper White 1-1/2" Circle punched shape. She added a Comfort & Hope sentiment over the top in Pretty Peacock ink. Before popping it up on the card front with Dimensionals, she added a Pretty Peacock Forever Flourishes fern die-cut with SEAL adhesive. She finished the card be adding a couple of gold Gilded Gems floating around the focal point. So sweet!
