Sparkly In The Woods Card
When it gets this close to Christmas and you still need to make some holiday cards, it's time to focus on quick & easy! I love how quickly this card comes together without sacrificing any of the "Too Cool" factor! One reason it's so quick is because it uses that Silver-Lined Note Cards & Envelopes for an instant and stunning card base and matching envelope!
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Rub Embossing Buddy over the 4-3/4” x 3-1/2” Night of Navy cardstock to remove any static.
- Stamp the Winter Woods sentiment in VersaMark ink.
- Sprinkle White Stampin’ Emboss Powder over stamped image, tap off excess powder and heat emboss with the Heat Tool.
- Run stamped piece through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
- Tie the 12” Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon in a bow and wrap the ends of the ribbon around the cardstock securing on the back with SNAIL Adhesive.
- Attach the Night of Navy cardstock to the Silver Foil-Edged Card with SNAIL.
- Die-cut a Sparkle Glimmer Paper tree using the In the Woods Framelits Dies.
- With your fingernail, pull up each of the “branches” from the tree to give it more dimension.
- Attach tree to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure to not attach the “pulled up” branches.

White Winter Woods Card
I'm so very happy that the Winter Woods stamp set will be carrying over into the new year! I'm loving how easily it coordinates with sets like Lovely As A Tree and Rooted In Nature. It's another classic stamp set that works so well all through the year on thinking of you, sympathy and masculine birthday cards. Here's a quick & easy winter scene that can be used for the holidays or anytime during the winter by simply changing out the sentiment.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Run embossing buddy over 3-3/4” x 5” Gray Granite cardstock several times.
- Ink up Winter Woods trees stamp with Versamark and stamp two times across Gray Granite piece.
- Pour White Emboss Powder over image, tap off excess and heat with Heat Tool.
- Stamp Itty Bitty Greetings sentiment in Memento Black Tuxedo in top left corner. Adhere to 4” x 5-1/4” Silver Foil layer with SNAIL.
- Tie Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon around layers, knot and trim ends.
- Mount onto Petal Pink card base using SNAIL.
