Hi Stamping Friends!

Fall is right around the corner and my Too Cool team has been creating some beautiful cards for the season!  We had a fall-themed swap this week and many of the cards featured the new Copper Foil paper coming out on September 1 with the release of the Holiday Catalog.  It's one of my favorite items from the new catalog!

Today, I'm sharing two of those swap cards, both with a Crumb Cake & Copper Foil color combination.

Rita's Thankful Grateful Blessed Card

Rita Berning shared this simple autumn card with stunning Copper Foil accents at our swap event.  It's got a very elegant feel.

Background Basics—The card starts with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock that's been dry embossed with the Woodgrain Texture Impressions Folder.  It's adhered to a vertically folded Early Espresso card base.

Copper Collage Banner—Rita created a lovely, shiny focal point starting with a Banner Framelits die-cut in Copper Foil.  Layered over the top is a strip of the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, trimmed to the same banner shape. It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Copper Collage Leaves—Rita stamped a small leaf from the Vintage Leaves stamp set in Crumb Cake onto Very Vanilla card stock, then die-cut it with the Leaflets Framelits.  She sponged over the leaf with Delightful Dijon & Rich Razzleberry inks to give it rich color.

Next, she die-cut a Copper Foil leaf using the limited-time-only Beautiful Branches Thinlits from the Thoughtful Branches Bundle.  It's attached with a Glue Dot, along with a little Linen Thread bow.

NEW Paisleys & Posies—The sentiment is from the new Holiday Catalog set called Paisleys & Posies.  It's stamped in VersaMark onto a 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Sahara Sand and heat embossed in Copper Embossing Powder.  The sides are punched with the Banner Triple Punch, then the sentiment is popped up with Dimensionals.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.  Links for NEW items will be available on September 1.

Janet - acorny birthday

Janet's Affectionately Acorny Happy Birthday Card

Janet Shinn also shared a card with Crumb Cake & Copper Foil, this time with a fancy fold!

Janet - acorny birthday4

Background Basics—The card starts with an 8-1/4" x 4-1/4" Very Vanilla card base, scored at 2-3/4" to create a shortened card front.  Janet dry embossed a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and matted that onto a 5-1/4" x 4" Night of Navy layer.  The writing layer is a 3" square of Very Vanilla, on a 3-1/4" square of Night of Navy.

Card Front Panel—Janet adhered a 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of copper foil floral Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper onto a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Night of Navy and mounted that onto the left-side panel of the card front.

Acorny Focal Point—Janet die-cut a few Crumb Cake & Night of Navy leaves using the May Flowers Framelits to create the focal point foundation.  The Acorny Thank You acorn & cap images were stamped in VersaMark onto Very Vanilla, then heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder.  They were cut with the coordinating Acorn Builder Punch, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—Janet finished the card with a Thoughtful Banners greeting, stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Crumb Cake card stock, then punched with the Duet Banners Punch.  It's layered onto another Duet Banner punched shape in Night of Navy and popped up as well.

Finishing Touches—She added simple Linen Thread bow is added for more texture and matted the focal point onto a 3-1/8" square piece of Crumb Cake.  Half of this element is adhered to the left side of the card, so that it's aligned with the inside square underneath.  What a fun fold!

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.  Links for NEW items will be available on September 1.
