We're just shy of two weeks into the awesome Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration event, and it's pretty clear which selections are the early favorites!
Everyone is loving the fabulous colors and patterns of the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper, and they're also excited about the Petite Curly Label Punch and the matching Pretty Petites stamp set.
Today's project features all three of those popular Sale-A-Bration items!
These two cool cards were featured in my Spring Catalog Kickoff event earlier this year and we're also creating it at several of my Private Classes!
I think part of the reason I love the Sycamore Street paper so much is because I adore the Island Indigo In Color (I'll be so sad to see it go on June 1st)! I've used it as the card base here and layered it with a 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Sahara Sand that's embossed with the Needlepoint Border Texture Impressions Folder.
This card design is a great way to use up scraps of your Designer Papers. You need four coordinating pieces punched with the 1-1/4" Square Punch. I rounded the opposite corners of each piece and adhered them with the pointed corners to the corners of the 3×3" Island Indigo frame layer. It looks a little like a quilt square to me, not that I've ever quilted before!
The Scallop Duo Bigz Die was used to cut the Whisper White square scallop layer, and the whole element was popped up with Dimensionals.
I decorated the four squares with the Pretty Petites "for you" image, stamped in Tangerine Tango, then punched with the Petite Curly Label Punch. A Pool Party Satin bow, from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack, was adhered with a Glue Dot at the top. It kind of looks like a present to me. So cute!
I turned the design on its side for the horizontal version.
I can certainly see why those cute little sentiments are popular! The Petite Curly Label Punch also coordinates with the Ciao, Baby! stamp set from the Spring Catalog! You can't go wrong earning that one for free with your $50 order!
