I shared in my LIVE Class video how I like to stamp lots of the little leaves and acorn images at a time, so I can quickly add them as accents to my cards. I used my extra 1" strips of Very Vanilla scrap cardstock (I know you probably have lots of these!) to do my mass-stamping. I started by stamping multiples of each outline leaf and acorn image in Early Espresso ink. Then, I used the solid coordinating stamp to add a colorful fill inside each stamp. I stamped the leaves in stamped-off Cajun Craze or full-strength Mint Macaron. The acorn was in stamped-off Crumb Cake with full-strength Crumb Cake for the acorn cap. Then, I used the Autumn Punch Pack to quickly punch out all of my leaves and acorns.
Background Basics—For the first card, I started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I added a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper along the bottom, the added a strip of Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon across the cardfront, securing the ends behind the piece before mounting it onto the Crumb Cake card base.
Sweet Sentiment—The Beautiful Autumn stamp set has some lovely greeting in pretty fonts! I stamped this one in Early Espresso ink onto a Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes circle die-cut. It's popped up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
Autumn Accents—I added a few of the Beautiful Autumn accents that I massed produced earlier around the sentiment circle, then added a few Champagne Rhinestones.
Inside The Card—Don't forget to use some of your Beautiful Autumn accents to dress up the inside of the card, too!
Two Cool—I tried experimenting with some different elements on a similar background for my second card. This time, I mounted my Very Vanilla Subtle embossed layer onto an Early Espresso card base. I added another pattern of Gilded Autumn DSP across the bottom measuring 5-1/4" x 1", then added a 5-1/4" x 1/4" strip of gold Brushed Metallic Cardstock along the top.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a different Beautiful Autumn sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto a 3-1/2" x 7/8" piece of Mint Macaron, fish-tail cut the end and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—This time, I added several of the leaves and acorns, gently falling diagonally across the card front. All of the accents are adhered with Glue Dots, except the one maple leaf under the sentiment that's popped up with a Dimensional. I finished by adding a couple of gold Metallic Pearls.

Ahhh! It's good to be back to blogging! I had to take a few days off to recuperate after a planned foot surgery last Friday to remove a bone spur. The surgery itself was very quick and successful, but I mistakenly thought that I'd be able to jump back in and resume my blogging schedule right away. Haha! I've felt pretty good, with only minimal pain & discomfort. But I've discovered that, even with a laptop, it's not easy to work when you have to have your foot raised above your heart to keep the swelling down!
Current situation...
I'm so very thankful for this lovely contraption that has kept me tethered to my recliner. It's a wrap that pumps cold water around my foot so that I don't have to bother with changing out ice and possibly getting my bandage wet. I also have compression wraps on both legs to keep the blood circulating while I'm off my feet. It's all helping me heal much faster and giving me a really great excuse for napping!
I've been amazed at how well I'm able to walk around with the help of my new designer surgical boot! I can hobble along pretty quickly already and I'm sure I'll be a pro after walking in it for the next month. For now, I'm just trying to get used to my restricted movements and my inability to drive, while practicing patience. My husband has been so wonderful...taking such good care of me and my doggers, Jax & Millie!

Today, I have four sneak peeks from the upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration promotion, which starts January 3! Check out the photos below, plus a video showing the sneak peak products in more detail!
Background Basics—This card begins with a 2" x 5-1/4" strip of Grapefruit Grove gingham paper from the new 6x6" Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. The pack comes with small & large gingham patterns in Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist & Balmy Blue. See it up close in the video below. I adhered the gingham to a Grapefruit Grove card base. I also embossed a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock with the Subtle Texture Impressions Folder and adhered it to the other side of the card front with Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives.
Stitched Rectangles—The focal point layer is stamped onto a 2-5/8" x 3-15/16" rectangle of Whisper White cardstock that has a pretty faux stitching around the edge. It's created with one of my favorite items from the Occasions Catalog...the Stitched Rectangles Framelits! If you like the look of the Stitched Shapes Framelits, you're going to LOVE the versatility of these new rectangles in all kinds of sizes! Plus, as a bonus feature, it creates the faux stitching on both the inside rectangle AND the outside frame window! See the video below for details! This is going to be a must-have for your die collection!
Hello Cupcake—The new Hello Cupcake stamp set has an adorable set of yummy cupcake images that will make your birthday cards so sweet! You can earn this stamp set for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration, January 3 - March 31, 2019. I stamped the cupcake liner image in Soft Suede at the bottom first. Next, I added a thin cake image that nestles in-between the liner and the frosting images perfectly, inked in Grapefruit Grove. I stamped the Grapefruit Grove frosting swirl next, then added the sentiment on top in Soft Suede. You can see how these images fit perfectly together in the video below!
Finishing Touches—I finished the stamping by adding a cute heart in Lovely Lipstick, then I added the layer to the card front with Dimensionals. To top it off, I tied a bow with the new Grapefruit Grove Organdy Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot. That ribbon is part of a special Sale-a-Bration ribbon combo pack selection, and it includes all of the colors that match the Gingham Gala DSP: Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist & Balmy Blue. I'm loving that cool coordination!
Two Cool—I did a second version in Highland Heather and it's just as sweet! Notice that I featured the larger gingham pattern on this card, versus the smaller pattern on the first card. I love that you can choose which size of gingham on these double-sided papers!
Cute Cupcake—I pretty much kept the card the same as the first one, just adding the coordinating Highland Heather ribbon and changing up the greeting to another sentiment from the Hello Cupcake set. Which color is your favorite?

It's a special day for me! Today is my 15th Anniversary of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! Woohoo! I'm celebrating with an exclusive 15% off promotion! See all the details below!
Standing by the Stampin' Up! timeline at OnStage LIVE, 2018.
My "Joining Stampin' Up!" Story—Way back on December 11, 2003, I joined the team by mailing in my Starter Kit order form with a $199 check. Yes, that's right...there was not online option like there is today, we had to mail it in and WAIT for approval! And the cost of the Starter Kit was twice the price of the current $99 Starter Kit. You could only select a few ink pad colors and maybe a stamp set or two and everything else in the kit was determined for you, unlike today's totally customizable kit.
I found out about Stampin' Up! through co-worker who invited me to a party. I learned about the "poppin' pastels" technique and how to add eyelets and use Dimensionals! I was in love with it immediately and purchased some products to create some hand-stamped Christmas cards. After creating 20 holiday cards with my Baroque Burgundy and Forest Foliage coordinating cardstock & ink, along with my first Christmas stamp set...I knew I would be wanting more! I figured I could sign up for the discount and maybe do a few workshops a month to pay for my hobby. So, I contacted the demonstrator I had met and she dropped off the forms & information I needed to sign up. Funny, after I became part of her team, she ended up dropping about two weeks later and I never saw her again. But, here I am...15 years later!
So much has changed over the coarse of 15 years, with Stampin' Up! and in my life! Never in a million years would I have thought that that one little workshop would bring so much creativity, friendships, compensation and JOY in to my life! My love for the products and the company has grown every year and I can't imagine what my life would be like without Stampin' Up! and my stamping friends in it! As the Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of the company always says...it's so much more than stamps, ink & paper! Here's to the next 15 years of stamping!

I'm taking a little break from holiday cards today to show you a sneak peek of some items from the brand new All My Love suite of products, coming in the Occasions Catalog on January 3, 2019! The items can be used for Valentine's Day, weddings, anniversaries or just a lovely thinking of you card!
Background Basics—I started with a Lovely Lipstick card base and adhered a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" layer of Flirty Flamingo on the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Lovely Stamping—I stamped the Forever Lovely sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink onto the right side of a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the pretty Forever Lovely flower image in Flirty Flamingo ink above the greeting in full-strength for one flower and stamped-off for the other. Next, I adhered a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of the beautiful All My Love Designer Series Paper onto the left side of that panel.
Finishing Touches—I tied some of the 1/8" sheer Flirty Flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack around the stamped layer and tied it into a knot. That layer is popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front. I finished by adding a few Artisan Pearls in the Grapefruit Grove and Petal Pink shades.
This is definitely a #SimpleStamping card that you can mass produce easily to have on hand to brighten someone's day! Let's try another version...
Two Cool—My second version uses a different pattern of All My Love DSP. I loved the Balmy Blue accents, so I chose that color as my card base. The mat layer is Lovely Lipstick.
Lovely Stamping—The background layer is stamped all in Lovely Lipstick ink with one flower stamped-off.
Finishing Touches—I added a 3-3/4" x 1/2" strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock to the background, then tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the layers. I finished with a few Basic Pearl Jewels floating around the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! has released the list of which items will be retiring for good from the 2018 Holiday Catalog! SAVE NOW on select Retiring List items while they last, plus enjoy savings on some surplus items from the Annual Catalog for a limited time.
I was so blessed to be able to spend some time with a couple of people from the Stampin' Up! corporate office yesterday!
Cori Hancock and Shannon West, along with my team member Jodi Geers, enjoyed chatting over lunch at El Azteca restaurant! It was awesome to be able to ask them questions and give them feedback on what we were doing with our teams and events. I love that Stampin' Up! encourages our feedback and what an honor it was to be invited to give it during some face-to-face conversation! I LOVE this company!
Today, I'm sharing a few beautiful samples that Stampin' Up! created with the Blended Seasons Bundle!
Introducing the NEW Color Your Season special for August! The Blended Seasons stamp set, Stitched Seasons Framelits and brand NEW assortment of Watercolor Pencils are the perfect for every season of creating! Save 10% when you purchase the limited-time stamp set and framelits in a bundle! Hurry—these products are only available until August 31, while supplies last.
Blended Seasons Spring Blooms Recessed Window Card
I love how the Blended Seasons limited-time stamp set covers all the seasons of the year! It includes 6 lovely sentiments, so it's truly a very versatile, all-occasion set! Plus, add the coordinating framelits, and you have a fantastic variety of images, elements and shapes with which to create!
Recessed Window—The leafy branch image was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto a Coastal Cabana card base. The window was die-cut with the medium Stitched Seasons label die. Those label dies are designed to add faux-stitching to both the label shape AND the edge of the window it creates. Look closely for the stitched detail! Too Cool! It's popped up with Dimensionals over the floral focal point layer.
Watercolor Floral—Inside the window, the floral Blended Seasons image was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then watercolored using the new Watercolor Pencils Assortment #2 and a Blender Pen or Aqua Painter. The flowers were highlighted with Flirty Flamingo and Gorgeous Grape with some Crushed Curry in the centers. The leaves were colored with Granny Apple Green and Garden Green, with a hint of Crushed Curry. The background was lightly colored and blended in Coastal Cabana.
Finishing Touches—The Blended Seasons sentiment was stamped in Garden Green onto a strip of Whisper White, then scored and fishtailed on the ends to replicate a 3D banner. A couple of Granny Apple Green Stitched Seasons leaf die-cuts were tucked under the sentiment. A few pretty sequins from the Sequins Assortment are floating over the blooms.
Blended Seasons Summer Wreath Card
What a sweet square card that's perfect for adding to a birthday or thank you gift!
Sweet Wreath—The leafy branch image was stamped in several times in the shape of a wreath in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-1/2" x 4" piece of Whisper White. It was colored in with Granny Apple Green watercolor pencil and blended, then mounted onto a Petal Pink 4" x 4" card base.
Flower Details—The Stitched Seasons Framelits were used to die-cut the vellum, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist leaf shapes, as well as the Grapefruit Grove flower. They are all layered with Glue Dots over a Linen Thread bow and the flower is topped with a Pearl Jewel.
Sweet Sentiment—The Blended Seasons sentiment was stamped in StazOn Black ink onto a 4-1/4" x 1" strip of Vellum cardstock and adhered with Glue Dots.
Blended Seasons Fall Leaves Thank You Card
Ooh, this one might be my favorite! I love all of the pretty copper and natural colors!
Falling Leaves—The Blended Seasons leaves images were stamped in Garden Green onto a 5-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Crumb Cake. They were colored with Blender Pens and Watercolor Pencils in fall colors: Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Garden Green. Then, the Stitched Seasons label shape was die-cut from the center. This time you can see the stitching on both sides of the label cut! The leaf background was mounted onto a Soft Suede card base and the label was eventually popped up with Dimensionals after some embellishment layers were added.
Leaves & Layers—I love all of the textures behind the label! There's a strip of Burlap Ribbon and a large Copper Trim bow. The leaf shapes were die-cut from Gold Glimmer Sheets with the Stitched Seasons Framelits, and I think they may have some Cajun Craze ink sponged onto them because they look almost copper colored!
Finishing Touches—The greeting was stamped onto a strip of Whisper White in Cherry Cobbler and there's a Crushed Curry wheat image in the background. The card is finished with a couple of gold sequins from the Mini Sequins Trim.
Blended Seasons Winter Merry Christmas Card
From springtime to holiday time, Blended Seasons covers it all! I especially love the traditional "Merry Christmas" greeting in a beautiful font that I could use for the insides of all of my holiday cards!
Background Elements—The Cherry Cobbler card base has a 4" x 4" piece of Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper adhered to the background. There are also some leaf and berry die-cuts in Garden Green and Granny Apple Green that are tucked under the focal point.
Watercolor Holly—The holly image was stamped onto a Whisper White label die-cut from Stitched Seasons. It was colored with Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencils, along with a Blender Pen or Aqua Painter.
Finishing Touches—The sentiment was embossed in white onto a Real Red strip of cardstock, then layered over some Granny Apply Green Texture Weave Ribbon and gold Mini Sequin Trim. So pretty!

Two NEW Eastern Palace Suite Bundles Now Available!
Receive a FREE Gift in each one now thru May 31 only!
1) Janet's Lemon Lime & Black Eastern Medallion Card
When Janet Shinn shared this card at our team event last week, she mentioned how much she LOVES the new Lemon Lime Twist color paired with Basic Black and I couldn't agree more! It's bright & bold, with a refreshing, elegant pop!
Background Basics—Janet began this card by adding one of the Eastern Gold Vinyl Sticker borders to the left edge of the Basic Black card base. Next, she adhered a 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Lemon Lime Twist Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper with SNAIL.
Focal Point—For the center foundation, Janet used the Eastern Medallion Thinlits to die-cut an intricate medallion shape from a 3" x 3" piece of Basic Black. It's adhered to a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla to show a beautiful contrast under the die-cut. She die-cut another medallion layer from the same Lemon Lime Twist DSP. The Eastern Medallion thinlits die-cut just the intricate holes, so you need to pair it up with a Layering Circles Framelit to fully cut the circle shape. After adding a Mini Tassel to the back, Janet popped up the layer with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Janet stamped the Eastern Beauty sentiment in Memento Black Ink onto a Very Vanilla circle, also cut with the Layering Circles Framelits.
Buy The Bundle & SAVE—All of the Eastern Palace items, including the new In Colors, will be available on June 1, but you can get them NOW with this special, Early Release Promotion! Purchase the entire Eastern Palace Starter Bundle or Eastern Palace Premier Bundle before May 31 and receive a FREE gift! See complete details of this Eastern Palace Special Offer!
I love how Rita Berning used a simple watercoloring technique to add pops of color to this pretty Eastern Beauty floral card. Too Cool! You can make this card with the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle and just a few other accent items!
Background Basics—Rita trimmed off a piece of Tea Lace Doily to add behind a 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Tranquil Tide card stock, then adhered the strip to a Very Vanilla card base. She accented the border with a 3/4" x 5-1/2" strip of the same Lemon Lime DSP as Janet's card. She finished by stamping the sweet sentiment in new Tranquil Tide ink at the lower right corner.
Watercolored Blooms—Rita stamped the 6-petal Eastern Beauty flower in Memento Black Ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. She used an Aqua Painter with the new Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig ink pads to paint soft colors onto the flowers, then die-cut them with the Eastern Medallions Thinlits. They are popped up with Dimensionals.
Before mounting the Fresh Fig flower, she added some loops of Gold Metallic Thread behind the flower using the Dimensionals to hold them in place. She completed the card by adding a few Gold Metallic Enamel Shapes between the blooms. Love those drops of gold!

Today, I wanted to share some tips on how you can combine the programs that Stampin' Up! already offers, along with the TWO COOL June promotions to really maximize your benefits and get the most bang for your buck! You just may be surprised at how many items you'll be able to get off of that big wishlist!
Get All Your Faves From The New Catalog At The Best Price!
Stampin’ UP! has two programs that are always in place that help you earn FREE stamps, but right now in June, they have TWO COOL promotions that can help you SAVE even more! Put them together and you can get the most bang for your buck! Let me show you how!
►$150 Orders Earn Stampin’ Rewards
Workshop Orders—Most of you probably know that you can earn Stampin’ Reward dollars when you host a workshop with your friends. If you have combined orders of $150 or more, you start to earn 10% back in the form of Stampin’ Reward dollars that you can spend on anything from the catalog. When you get to $300, you can earn 12% in Rewards dollars to spend!
Individual Order Qualify, Too!—Did you know that you don’t have to have a workshop to earn those rewards? You can put in an individual order of $150 to earn those benefits! Right now, with the new catalog just released, your wishlist may be bigger than any other time of the year, so rather than having a bunch of smaller orders, save up and put in an order of $150 or more to get those freebies!
►June Only: Earn $35 Extra Stampin’ Rewards—If you get to the $350 level in June only, you receive $35 extra Stampin’ Rewards dollars! You’ll earn $42 from the regular program, plus $35, for a total of $77 or more to spend on anything from the catalog! Too Cool! Learn more!
►$99 Starter Kit—Best Deal In The Catalog!
Available Anytime, To Anyone!—If you have a big wish list, consider purchasing the $99 Starter Kit to maximize your savings! For just $99, you can select up to $125 worth of products of your choice, plus you’ll get FREE Shipping on that order, so that saves you 10% right there. Last Day For Paper Share—Only 5 Spots Left!
I'm trying to fill the final 2016 Paper Share group and I'd love for you to join us! Participants receive 6x6" sheets of every NEW paper from the catalog—135 sheets in all—plus the new doilies! All for $34.50!
Last Day For The In Color Club—Only 3 Spaces Left!
I'm trying to fill the final group for our 2016 In Color Club. It's a budget-friendly way to get all the NEW In Color products, plus supplies for making 20 matching cards & FREE rewards! Receive card stock, ink, refill, ribbon and a marker in each month's featured color. Plus, you'll have supplies to create 4 each of all 5 card designs shown above featuring the new colors!
In Color Balloon Celebration Cards—Today I'm sharing a close-up look at the 4th card from my In Color Club featuring ink and ribbon in Peekaboo Peach. Club participants will create 4 cards in this design during their Peekaboo Peach month. See the other In Color Club cards already posted: Sweet Sugarplum card, Flirty Flamingo card & Emerald Envy card.
Background Basics—I started with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock, embossed in the Confetti Texture Impressions Folder. I wrapped a piece of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon around the background, securing the ends on the back with SNAIL, then adhered it to the Whisper White card base.
Trio of Balloons—I die-cut a focal point foundation using the Lots of Labels Framelits. I stamped the outlined Balloon Celebration images in Memento Black Ink onto Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo card stock, then punched them out with the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch. I laid out the balloons to get the correct positioning, then stamped the balloon string in black ink. The balloons were adhered to the label with Dimensionals and the layer itself is popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Balloon Celebration greeting in Memento Black Ink onto a 3-1/2" x 3" strip of Whisper White card stock that has been fish-tailed on the ends. I also added some dotted circle images in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach over the top of the words. The sentiment is also popped with Dimensionals.
Two Cool—This second card has a Flirty Flamingo embossed background.
Off-Center—The first card had everything centered, but this one pushes the elements to the edges. The bunch of balloons is gathered a little closer together. The sentiment is cut straight to sit flush along the right edge and one of the dotted images in stamped in Sweet Sugarplum. I also added the ribbon under the banner, rather than wrapping it around the card.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
