Here's a sweet and simple spring card to brighten a friend's day!
Background Basics—You'll start with a Pool Party 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base that's scored at the 4-1/4" mark. Next cut a 4-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. I love the faux stitching detail lining the DSP. To achieve that, simply die cut two 1" x 4-1/2" pieces of Basic White with the larger Stitched Rectangles dies. Adhere the stitched die-cut borders to the top and bottom of the DSP, then mount onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Flowering Rain Boots sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut. Those dies are retiring soon and they are a must-have for your stamping collection! Wrap some white baker's twine around the label and tie into a knot. Pop the sentiment up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—Simply add a few Iridescent Rhinestones around the sentiment label to give the card some sparkly goodness!
I love the layering of both the tulips and the frames on this sweet thinking of you card.
Background Basics—Start by adhering a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper to a Pool Party card base. Next, create the layered frames by die cutting two Basic White Scalloped Contours labels and cutting the center out of one with a Stampin' Trimmer. Adhere the full label to the card front with SEAL Adhesive, then add the scalloped frame over the top with Mini Dimensionals.
Terrific Tulips—Die cut the petals needed to create three Petal Pink tulips with the Tulips Dies. Lightly sponge with both Petal Pink and Poppy Parade ink to give them depth. Curl with a bone folder and assemble with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, die cut a few Pear Pizzazz tulip stems with the same die set. Attach the stems to the flowers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Finally, stamp some Flowering Tulips leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink onto Pear Pizzazz cardstock and die-cut. Position the flowers in the frame so you can get an idea of where you want the leaves, then adhere those inside the frame. Add the tulips with either SEAL Adhesive or Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Flowering Tulips sentiment in Poppy Parade ink onto Basic White. Fussy cut the sentiment with Paper Snips, then pop up with more Dimensionals.

The beautiful abstract landscape patterns on the New Horizons Designer Series Paper is what makes this collection so unique and awesome! Simply stamp a few of the On The Horizons images to create a tranquil scene and a lovely "thinking of you" style card.
Background Basics—I started by stamping the wooden plank On The Horizon image in Mossy Meadow ink along both the left and right sides of a Mossy Meadow card base. Next, I embossed a 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Old Olive cardstock with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder (retiring) and adhered it along the bottom of the card front.
I trimmed down a piece of the 6x6" New Horizons DSP to 2-3/4" x 5-1/2", then layered it onto a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock. I tied some Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the layers before adhering it to the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the On The Horizon sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto a Pale Papaya label die cut with the retiring Ornate Frames Dies. It's popped up with Dimensionals, then accented with a couple of Champagne Rhinestones. So easy and lovely!
Two Cool—My second card, which will also be in my Class Kit, starts with an Evening Evergreen card base and wooden plank images stamped in the same color. The texture embossed layer is in Mint Macaron. I tried a different New Horizons DSP pattern on this one, stamping some On The Horizon trees and birds on it with Evening Evergreen. It's layered onto a Garden Green mat and tied with white linen ribbon from the retiring Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack, then mounted onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the On The Horizon sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto a 2-3/8" x 1/2" piece of So Saffron, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by accenting with the green gems in the retiring Holiday Rhinestones pack.
I hop you were able to join me last night during my Artistically Inked LIVE Class. If not, check out the replay linked below and be sure to place your order for a FREE Class Kit.

I absolutely adore the beautiful floral images in the Artistically Inked stamp set! They produce gorgeous watercolor-like flowers and leaves that layer with ease. Have fun experimenting with lots of different color combinations. It looks fabulous every time!
I created my first card as a thank you for my baby shower gifts last year. The second card is featured in the 5-Card LIVE Class Kit.
Stamped Bouquet—I started by stamping an Artistically Inked sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink onto the top right corner of a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White. Next, I added two large flowers in Pool Party and stamped their centers in Bumblebee ink. I added a few roses in Flirty Flamingo ink, then filled in the empty spaces with Pear Pizzazz leaves. This layer was adhered to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Bermuda Bay.
Finishing Touches—I tied some White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon around the layers before mounting them onto a Coastal Cabana card base. I finished by adding a few Pearl Jewels around the sentiment. This is what I like to call Simple Stamping and it's simply stunning!
Two Cool—My class kit card begins with a Blackberry Bliss card base and a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Pear Pizzazz that's been embossed with the retiring Tasteful Textile Folder..
Stamped Bouquet—I stamped the two large flowers in Flirty Flamingo with Rich Razzleberry centers, then added Petal Pink roses and Pear Pizzazz leaves. The Artistically Inked sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry, too. I layered this onto a Flirty Flamingo piece.
Finishing Touches—I tied some Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon around the bouquet and added some Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems around the sentiment. It's popped up onto the card base with Dimensionals.

I'm a big fan of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, and one of my favorites from the current Mini Catalog is the ultra-feminine Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP pack. Today, I'm sharing two cool cards featuring the two fun & fancy sides of this unique paper!
Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP!48 pretty, feminine sheets that are fabulous for both spring and "girly" cards! One side features the prettiest floral prints and the other side has plenty of female-oriented patterns with shoes, perfume, purses and lipsticks! How fun! You receive 4 each of 12 double-sided sheets, all in lovely spring shades!
Nothing beats coordinating products for limitless creativity and Stampin' Up! has just released 6 cool new Coordinating Products to go with some of our favorite Mini Catalog & Sale-a-Bration items! Check out the video above to see the new products in action! Available thru March 31, 2020, while supplies last.
There are so many pretty papers in the Best Dressed pack that I knew I wanted to create a couple of cards that really showcased those cool coordinating patterns! The shortened card front design is perfect for that, and all I really needed was a simple sentiment and a couple of accents to finish them up in style!
Background Basics—I started with a Mint Macaron card base measuring 7-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at the 3-1/4" mark. I decorated the front with a 3" x 5-1/4" piece of my favorite floral pattern from the pack, then added a 1" x 5-1/4" strip along the inside right side so that it peeks out from under the card front.
Next, I added a 3" x 1" strip of Mint Macaron card stock across the lower half of the card front to create a foundation for the focal point. I also decorated the front flap with some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, tied into a double-knot.
Fancy Focal Point—I stamped the Dressed To Impressed sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. I inked up the Dressed To Impressed splotch in Highland Heather, stamped off once, then stamped over the top of the sentiment to give it a little pop.
Finishing Touches—I punched out two Old Olive leaves with the Leaf Punch and adhered them to the back of the circle, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a few Champagne Rhinestones. So sweet!
Two Cool—The second card starts with a Blackberry Bliss card base, decorated with the Best Dressed DSP in the purses pattern and a coordinating striped Daffodil strip on the inside.
Fancy Focal Point—This time, I die-cut a larger circle and stamped a different sentiment with the same stamped-off Highland Heather splotch. Next, I hand-cut a perfume bottle image from another Best Dressed DSP sheet and adhered it to the focal point.
Inside The Card—Don't forget to decorate the inside! I added another Dressed To Impress sentiment with the same splotch. Love it!

The first card was created by Amy Combs and it highlights two beautiful patterns from the Peacefull Poppies Designer Series Papers.
Background Basics—Amy started by layering a 2" x 5" piece of the DSP onto a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Old Olive cardstock. She also adhered a 3/4" x 5-1/4" strip of the striped DSP underneath the edge of the layers.
Before adhering the DSP layers to the Crumb Cake card base, she wrapped Whisper White Baker's Twine around them and tied them into a bow for some texture. The whole thing is popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Amy stamped a sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set (a must-have!) in Mossy Meadow ink onto Old Olive cardstock, then punched it out with the Label Me Lovely Punch and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—She finished by adding a few Peaceful Poppies Sequins with Multipurpose Glue for a little more texture and sparkle. Easy and so pretty!
Swap Card created by Sandy Carlson
With Deepest Sympathy Front Flap Card
This front flap card was created by my friend Sandy Carlson (hi, Sandy!). I love the way it opens and it's such an easy and unexpected closure.
Background Basics—Sandy started with a traditional size Poppy Parade card base. She adhered a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to a 3" x 4-1/4" mat in Basic Black and mounted them to the card front.
Card Closure—To make the card flap, Sandy cut a 7" x 1-1/2" piece of Basic Black, scored at the 2-3/4" mark.
She adhered the longest panel to the back of the card, as shown above.
Sweet Sentiment—For the focal point, Sandy stamped the Peaceful Moments sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White and die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. Next, she die-cut the Basic Black swirly circle element using the Painted Labels dies. Both are attached to the arm with SNAIL adhesive.
Finishing Touches—Like the first card, she added some Peaceful Poppies Sequins for a little eye-catching sparkle. So quick and easy!

I received this pretty swap card from Bonnie O'Neill and I love that you could truly use it any time of year. It uses the lovely papers, punches and ribbon from the From My Heart suite.
Background Basics—Bonnie started by adhering three 1-1/4" x 5" panels, in Real Red cardstock, Flirty Flamingo cardstock and From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper, onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock. It's mounted onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White, then adhered to a Flirty Flamingo card front.
Sweet Sentiment—Bonnie stamped a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Real Red onto the bottom of a Whisper White piece that was die-cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. It's popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Lovely Heart—Next, Bonnie punched the dotted heart from the From My Heart DSP with one of the full-size punches from the Heart Punch Pack. She punched the Real Red scallop heart using the other punch from the pack, layered them with SNAIL adhesive and popped them up with Dimensionals, as well. She finished by adding a Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon bow under the heart with a Glue Dot. Simple & sweet!

I received this heartfelt card using the same suite. We'll be creating this card at my "Last Thursdays" monthly card class tomorrow night!
Sweet Sentiment—Kim's card begins by stamping a greeting from the Heartfelt stamp set in Real Red onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. It's layered onto a Real Red card base.
Background Basics—Next, Kim adhered a 5-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of From My Heart DSP to a 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" layer of Real Red cardstock and mounted it to the card front.
Layered Heart Sentiment—Kim created a foundation for her sentiment by adding a Flirty Flamingo Heart Doily to the card front. Then, she stamped onto the center of a red foil heart on one of the patterns of From The Heart Specialty DSP with a Heartfelt greeting in Flirty Flamingo ink. It's punched out with the scallop Heart Punch and popped up with Dimensionals. She finished with a Whisper White 1/4" Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon Bow, attached with a Glue Dot. I love this as a Valentine for a close friend!

Today I've got a couple more cards from my 12-card Christmastime Is Here class, one of which I shared on last week's LIVE Class! I've gotten some awesome feedback on this class! Sometimes, all you need is stamps, ink and paper for a card that really packs a WOW! This simple card showcases the beautiful DisINKtive details in this two-step images. The see-thru photopolymer stamps make it easy to line up and achieve this look very quickly, too!
Single Layer Stamping—I started by stamping the Christmastime Is Here outline image in Early Espresso ink onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next, I used the two-step images to fill in the color, stamping off the ink one time before each color was placed. I used Cherry Cobbler for the rose, Mossy Meadow for the leaves and needles, Early Espresso for the pine cones and Poppy Parade for the berries.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on the same layer.
Details—Take a look at how awesome this image look close up! I love the detail! I finished by mounting the stamped layer onto an Early Espresso card base. Next, I tied some Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the card front, then added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots floating around the floral image. Stunning!
Christmastime Is Here Nested Label
The large rose bouquet image in the Christmastime is Here bundle is so pretty as a full focal point, but it looks just as lovely with just a partial image. I shared how to create this card during last week's LIVE Class and you can see the replay below.
Background Basics—I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that I scored at the 5-1/2" mark for a vertically-folded card base. Next, I added a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of the Cherry Cobbler patterned Christmastime Is Here DSP down the center. I layered a 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of the Mossy Meadow pattern along the bottom of the card. Then, I tied some of the 1/4" Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.
Nested Label—I stamped a Christmastime Is Here sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on the bottom of a Whisper White Stitched Nested Labels die-cut. Next, I stamped the large rose outline stamp in Crumb Cake ink onto the top of the label. I added the two-step color stamps to each area, stamping off one time for a lighter look: Cherry Cobbler for the rose, Mossy Meadow for the pine needles, Early Espresso for the pine cones and Poppy Parade for the berries.
Finishing Touches—I die-cut the two Gold Foil decorative corner shapes with the Roses dies, then adhered them on the back of the Stitched Nested Label die-cut before popping up the label with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots on the label.
In Case You Missed It...Watch how to create these Christmastime Is Here Class projects on last week's LIVE class:
Lightweight, portable and perfect for making accurate, straight cuts with ease! The NEW Paper Trimmer is here! I'm loving this new trimmer because it the beveled, larger blade simply cuts much better and more accurately! It comes with one cutting blade and one scoring blade. #152392 for $25.
Fall is right around the corner and it's my favorite time of year! The Come To Gather suite in the Holiday Catalog features a fun and versatile stamp set that's perfect for the season...Harvest Hellos.
The interchangeable apple and pumpkin shapes allows you to create projects for fall, for teachers, for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Today, I'm sharing a couple of cool swap cards I received spotlighting the pumpkin images.
Talk about simple and sweet! This swap card created by Tracy Jacobs is adorable!
Background Basics—Tracy begins this card by stamping the Harvest Hellos sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto the bottom right corner of a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. She created a foundation for the focal point by texture embossing a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the 3D Corrugated Embossing Folder. It's all mounted onto a Mossy Meadow card base.
Pretty Pumpkin—Tracy stamped the Harvest Hellos pumpkin image in Soft Suede ink onto a Terracotta Tile gingham pattern from the 2019 In Color 6x6" Designer Series Paper. It's punched with the coordinating Apple Builder Punch. She stamped the curly vine images in Soft Suede onto a 2-1/2" diameter Very Vanilla circle die-cut with the Layering Circles dies, then adhered the pumpkin to it. She also punched out a stem from Early Espresso cardstock and adhered that onto the top of the pumpkin.
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Harvest Hellos stamp set and Apple Builder Punch together in a bundle to save 10%!
Finishing Touches—Tracy stamped the leaf from the stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink onto matching cardstock, hand-cut those and added them around the pumpkin. She finished by tying a bow with Linen Thread and attaching it with a Glue Dot. Super-quick, super-cute!
Swap card created by Monika Davis.
Two Cool—My second swap card, created by Monika Davis, may be even easier to make! Monika started by stamping a few Mossy Meadow Harvest Hellos vines onto a Crumb Cake card base. She also used her Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Marker to flick some flecks of color onto the background. A skinny 4" x 1/8" strip of Monster Bash Designer Series Paper creates a little foundation for the pumpkins. She stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow just above that.
Pretty Pumpkins—Monika stamped the Harvest Hellos pumpkins in Mossy Meadow ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then colored them using Pumpkin Pie light and dark Stampin' Blends Markers. The stems were stamped in Mossy Meadow and colored with light Old Olive Blends. Both shapes were punched with the Apple Builder punch. The background pumpkin and both stems were adhered with SNAIL and the front pumpkin was popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—She added some texture by punching out some Mossy Meadow leaves with the Sprig Punch and some Vellum cardstock leaves with the Leaf Punch. I love how those two leaves in the two styles of papers layer so beautifully together! Like the first card, Monika added a Linen Thread bow to finish.
Today I'm sharing a really quick & simple card design that I demonstrated on my weekly LIVE Class this week. I also play with the new Delicata Metallic Inks, which I've found to be far superior to metallic inks we've had in the past because they provide great coverage and resist smearing. Check out the card details below.

You don't need a lot of layers and frills to make a truly beautiful holiday card. Today's card design was inspired by a swap card I received from Judy Garza. I CASEd her lovely design and experimented with some different color combinations. Let's see how it comes together...
Background Basics—I started by stamping a large Christmas Gleaming ornament in Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink in the upper right corner of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next, I added the small ornament in Pretty Peacock directly below it, and the other large ornament in Blueberry Bushel below that. I added a second column of ornaments by stamping the Blueberry Bushel one onto scrap Whisper White cardstock, punching it out with the coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack and laying it in the position I wanted it. I added a copper ornament below and a Pretty Peacock one above. I adhered the background to a Pretty Peacock card base.
Shiny Ornament—I popped up punched out ornament with Dimensionals, then colored over the image with Wink of Stella glimmer. Next, I tied a knot in the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible Ribbon and attached it with a Glue Dot.
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack together in a bundle to save 10%!
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Christmas Gleaming sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto Whisper White scrap, then cut it out and popped it up. So simple & sweet!
Two Cool—For my second version, I started with a Gorgeous Grape card base, and added ornaments in Silvery Shimmer Delicata Ink, Seaside Spray ink and Gorgeous Grape ink.
Finishing Touches—This time, I used Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon for the knot and the sentiment is stamped in Coastal Cabana.
Three Cool—This is the original swap card that I received from Judy Garza. She used traditional Christmas colors on a Thick Whisper White card base with no background layers for a really clean look. The ornaments are stamped in Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink, Garden Green and Real Red. The sentiment is also stamped in Real Red. She finished her ornament with a knot in the Garden Green Double-Stitched Ribbon.
Inside The Card—Judy stamped the inside with more Christmas Gleaming images in Real Red and Garden Green. What a pretty border!

Who doesn't need a gift card holder during the holidays and this one is super-easy to make! I designed these cards for a special class I'll be teaching at this year's Fort Wayne Rubber Stamp & Scrapbook Getaway!, on October 3, from 1:00 - 2:30pm at the Memorial Coliseum. If you're in the Fort Wayne area, check out the link for class details and plan to visit my booth at the expo on October 4-5!
Background Basics—I started with a 4-1/4" x 10" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock, scored at the 5-1/2" and 8-1/4" marks.
Gift Card Holder—I folded the card base on the score lines, then used the 1-3/4" Circle Punch to punch out a notch on the short end panel, to make it easier to get the gift card out of the pocket. It's adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive on the top and bottom edges.
Inside The Card—I adhered a 5-1/4" x 1" piece of the Let It Snow DSP along the bottom edge of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White for the inside layer. Once the front of the card was designed and in place, I stamped the Snowman Season greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the corner of the message area and added some Pool Party snowflake images on the top. (Stamp those images with the card front closed for good positioning.)
Snowman Focal Point—I added a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Let It Snow DSP to the front flap of the card for the background. Next, I stamped the Snowman Season image in Memento Black onto the largest Stitched Shapes circle die-cut. I used Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pens to add color to the image. You can get tips on that in the video. Colors used: Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate. I layered the circle onto a Bermuda Bay scallop circle die-cut from the Layering Circles dies. It's popped up onto the card front flap with Dimensionals. So quick, so cute!
Two Cool—In the LIVE Class video, I assembled a card with a different pattern on the background, then added more sparkle to the card to match the sparkle in the DSP. If you look closely, you can see some Wink of Stella shimmer on the snowman himself, and a couple of Rhinestone Jewels on the snowflakes in the corner. I used Stampin' Blends Markers to color this one: Light Bermuda Bay, Light Real Red, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Smoky Slate.
Three Cool—I created another version with a card base in Real Red and a different combo of the Let It Snow DSP.
