I couldn't offer a Half Full wine-themed stamp set class without adding in some wine gift tags!
Wine tags are a fantastic way to dress up a bottle of wine that you're giving as a holiday gift or to the host of a party.
Background Basics—I started with a 2-3/4" x 7-1/2" piece of Basic Black card stock, scored at 2-1/2". I used the 1-5/8" circle from the Layering Circles Framelits to die-cut a hole to hang over the neck of the bottle. Next, I added a 2-5/8" x 4-3/4" Island Indigo layer that was embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder.
Lovely Label—I cut a Old Olive label die-cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits. After adding a 2-1/2" x 3/4" strip of Gold Foil to the label, I popped it up with Dimensionals.
Focal Point—I stamped the Half Full tag image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a light wood pattern from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper 6x6" stack. I love the weathered look for the background of this stamp! I colored in the grapes with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers. I like to color the entire area with the light marker, add some shading with the darker marker, then blend the colors with the bullet tip of the light marker. Yes, I did that to every single grape! I also used the Color LIfter bullet tip to add a highlight to some of the grapes, giving even more realistic depth to the image. The leaves were shaded the same way. I love how those Stampin' Blends markers really make images come to life!
I trimmed out the stamped label shape with my Paper Snips, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I added a 7" piece of Gold Sequin Trim with a Glue Dot to the top of the label, then topped it with a Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon bow attached with another Glue Dot. I finished with a larger Gold Faceted Gem at the bottom.
Two Cool—The second tag has an Old Olive textured background with a Fresh Fig label, and is otherwise the same.
