Elegant Flourish Filigree Cards

Simple & elegant!  I love the stunning look of these Flourish Filigree cards!  The design is perfect for anything from a thank you card to an invitation!  They are easy & quick to duplicate, so they are perfect for mass-producing, too!  The Flourish Filigree stamp set will be retiring in just a few days—get it before it's gone for good!

 

 

Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock that I texture embossed with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder.  I used a couple of strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive, along with SNAIL Adhesive to securely mount it to a Blueberry Bushel card base.

 

  

Fantastic Filigree—I stamped the large Flourish Filigree image in Blueberry Bushel ink onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White.  It's mounted onto a 4-3/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Silver Foil, but before mounting, I punched out a Pretty Label Punch shape out of the center to use later with the sentiment.  Might as well save some of that pretty foil, since we're covering it up anyway! I attached the layers to the card front with more Tear & Tape and SNAIL.

 

 

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Flourish Filigree sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, then punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch.  I cut the Silver Foil shape that I punched out earlier in half and positioned each half on the top & bottom of the sentiment so just a bit was peeking out.  I trimmed away any foil that didn't match up perfectly, then popped up the greeting with Dimensionals.

 

Finishing Touches—I added some silver Metallic Pearl jewels to the four points on the flourish.

 

 

 

Two Cool—My second version features Merry Merlot with gold accents.

 

 

NEW Greeting—The Pretty Label Punch has plenty of room to use a myriad of sentiments!  I tried out a pretty birthday sentiment from the NEW Humming Along stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.    

 

 

Glorious Gold—I especially adore the Merry Merlot color with the Gold Foil and gold Metallic Pearl accents on this card!  So rich & elegant!

Christmas Traditions Holiday Paper Sampler Cards

Did you order one of my Holiday Paper Share sample packs? Today's cards are an example of how you can use your 6x6" sample pieces to create quick & easy holiday cards! I paired the Holiday Catalog Share papers with the brand new Christmas Traditions Punch Box.

 

Christmas Traditions Punch Box—I love this fun little gift box filled with everything you need to add cute sentiments to Christmas cards, treats & tags!  You receive a set of six greetings stamps, a coordinating Christmas Traditions label punch, Real Red & Call Me Clover Stampin' Spots and an acrylic block to mount the photopolymer stamps.  It all comes in a beautiful holiday storage tin, too!

Background Basics—The 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White background was embossed with the Swirls & Curls Texture Impressions Folder, then adhered to the Whisper White Thick cardstock base.  I like to use a combination of Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives for a secure hold.

 

Paper Sampler Square—The 3x3" All is Bright Designer Series Paper square was mounted onto a 3-1/4" square of Call Me Clover cardstock.  It was tied with some Real Red Mixed Satin Ribbon into a double-knot faux bow.  If you purchased the Holiday Paper Share, you can create 4 cards from just one of your samples!  Think of how fast you can create a whole stack of holiday cards with your favorite papers!  The neutral background works with all papers, so you only need to swap out the color of the mats and ribbon for a whole card set!

 

Sweet Sentiment—The Christmas Traditions sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink onto Whisper White, then punched with the Christmas Traditions label punch.  It's popped up onto a 1-3/4" Circle punch in Call Me Clover.

Two Cool—This time, I embossed the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder and mounted it onto a Mossy Meadow card base. 

Paper Sampler Square—I selected another pattern of the All is Bright Designer Series Paper for this 3x3" square, then mounted it onto a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Real Red.  It was wrapped with some Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon.  The ribbon is Very Vanilla, but I still think it looks amazing with the lights in this holiday paper! 

Sweet Sentiment—The Christmas Traditions sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto Whisper White, then punched with the Christmas Traditions label punch.  It's popped up onto a 1-3/4" Circle punch in Real Red cardstock.

 

Three Cool—I embossed the background with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder and mounted it onto a Shaded Spruce card base. 

Paper Sampler Square—I chose a square of Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper for this 3x3" square, then mounted it onto a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Cherry Cobbler.  It was wrapped with the Shaded Spruce ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

Sweet Sentiment—The Christmas Traditions sentiment was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and it's popped up onto a Cherry Cobbler 1-3/4" Circle.

 

Four Cool—I embossed the final card using the Seaside Texture Impressions Folder and mounted it onto a Merry Merlot card base. 

Paper Sampler Square—This last card has another gorgeous pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper for this 3x3" square.  It's mounted it onto a Gray Granite mat.  It was wrapped with the Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon. 

Sweet Sentiment—The Christmas Traditions sentiment was stamped in Merry Merlot and popped up onto a Gray Granite 1-3/4" Circle.

Garden Impressions So Much To Love Card

The Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper is so lovely as a background...all you really need to do is add a sentiment and you're done. 

Background Basics—The 5-1/2" x 2-/4" piece of Garden Impressions DSP is adhered to a 5-1/2" x 3" piece of Mango Melody cardstock, then mounted to a Night of Navy card base. Next, a 5" strip of Burlap Ribbon was attached to the card front with Tear & Tape and the ends were trimmed on an angle.

Sweet Sentiment—The two-step Abstract Impressions rose was stamped first.  The larger image was inked in Mango Melody, stamped off once, then stamped onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle.  Then, the detailed rose image was stamped over the top in full-strength Mango Melody.  The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy over the top for a cool layered stamping look.  The circle was mounted onto a Mango Melody Layering Circle Framelits scallop circle and popped up with Dimensionals over the ribbon.  A few Basic Pearl Jewels were added around the focal point, too.

Garden Impressions So Much To Love Front Flap Card

This card has similar colors and layered stamping to the first card and features a cool front off-set flap for an interesting opening.

Background Basics—The base of this card is a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" quarter sheet of So Saffron cardstock.  The actual Night of Navy card measures 5-1/4" x 6-3/4" and is scored on the 4" mark. The longer side is adhered to the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  The shorter flap is decorated with a 5" x 2-1/2" piece of Garden Impressions DSP.

Inside The Card—The Abstract Impressions rose is stamped at the bottom right of a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White. The larger rose is stamped in So Saffron with the detailed rose stamped in Mango Melody over the top. The larger leaves are stamped in Soft Sea Foam and the smaller leafy details are stamped in Shaded Spruce.  I love how this peeks out from under the card front when the card is closed!

Sweet Sentiment—The Abstract Impressions roses were stamped in So Saffron ink onto Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment was stamped over the top in Night of Navy ink, then the images were die-cut with the Stitched Shapes oval die.  It's layered onto a Night of Navy scallop oval shape, cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits, then popped up with Dimensionals.  Some Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine was tied around the card front into a bow to finish it up!

Abstract Impressions Thank You Card

The beautifully artistic Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper is featured on this pretty thank you card, along with the lovely new Lovely Lipstick color!  Love those sweet die-cut flowers from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits, too!

Step-By-Step Instructions:

1. Run SNAIL adhesive on the back of the longest edge of a 3” x 5-1/2” piece of Garden Impressions DSP. Add the Tulle Ribbon along this edge, gathering it as you go, creating a little ruffle that will peek out from under the paper.  Trim the ribbon, then mount the piece to a Lovely Lipstick card base.
2. Stamp the Abstract Impressions sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then die-cut with the Layering Circles Framelits.
3. Die-cut a circle from the yellow polka dot Garden Impressions DSP with Layering Circles Framelits, then adhere the sentiment to it with SNAIL. Pop up the layers onto the card front with Dimensionals.
4. Die-cut the small flowers from Calypso Coral, So Saffron & Lovely Lipstick cardstock with the Springtime Impressions Thinlits. Attach the flowers with Multipurpose Glue to the circles.
5. Add a Faceted Dot in the center of each flower. Lift the petals of the flowers to give dimension.

Share What You Love Thank You Card

Today's second card uses a very similar layout with different Designer Series Paper and some pretty accents from the amazing Share What You Love suite!  Simple & sweet!

Step-By-Step Instructions:

1. Adhere 3” x 5-1/2” Share What You Love DSP to the Tranquil Tide card base.
2. Attach the Rich Razzleberry Ribbon to the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
3. Stamp Love What You Do sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the label from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.
4. Punch out a Rich Razzleberry circle with the 2” Circle Punch and stamp the leaf image with black ink.
5. Adhere the punched piece to the back of the stamped label with SNAIL and adhere with Dimensionals onto the card front.
