The pretty pine bough image and Christmas sentiment team up to create a cute tag that can be used on it's on or as a focal point for a holiday card. You can create the first card as part of this week's LIVE Class Kit!
Background Basics—I adhered a 5-1/2" x 2" strip of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper along the top of a Basic White Thick card base. I embossed a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Soft Succulent strip with the pine texture from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder 2-pack. I also added a 5-1/2" x 1/2" strip of Evening Evergreen cardstock between the two to give it a finished look.
Terrific Tag—I die-cut a Basic White tag with the help of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I added an Evergreen Elegance sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink, then the pine bough in Evening Evergreen underneath. It's popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Finishing Touches—I added some Red Rhinestones to the pine bough to represent little berries. The Real Red Sheer Ribbon was part of our Holiday Catalog last year, and while it's currently unavailable, it will be returning to the holiday selection in the upcoming Mini Catalog on August 3! I tied a bow with that ribbon and attached it to the top of the tag with a Glue Dot. Lovely!
Two Cool—I kept the horizontal card, but changed up the background elements just a bit on this second card. The Tidings of Christmas DSP measures 2" x 4" and the Basic White layer is 3" x 4". The center Evergreen strip is 1/2" x 4".
Tailored Tag—This tag was stamped exactly like the first tag and adorned with a Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon bow instead. Another pretty one!
