Snail Mail Hello Envelope Card

Oh my goodness! As if the Snailed It stamp set can't get any cuter...try pairing a sentiment with the adorable mini envelope and letter die-cuts from the Snail Dies! I LOVE it!

 

Background Basics—I started by stamping the Snailed It heart image in Blushing Bride ink randomly and diagonally across a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White. I mounted that onto a Real Red card base.  Next, I created a fun foundation for the focal point by adhering three different 1" x 4" strips of the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper onto the card front and adding a Basic White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut on top.

 

Tiny Mail—I die-cut the Pool Party mini envelope with the Snail Dies, then folded it up and adhered it with Seal Adhesive. I stamped the Snailed It sentiment in Real Red ink onto the Basic White letter die-cut and adhered it coming out of the envelope!  So, so, so super-cute! 

 

Finishing Touches—I added a single red Resin Heart onto the letter...awww! Then, I finished up with a double-bow in Blushing Bride Snail Mail Twine, attached with a Glue Dot.

 

 

Decorating the Inside—Be sure to add coordinating elements to decorate the inside. I added a 1/2" strip of the Snail Mail DSP across the bottom, then dressed it up with a the happy mail stamp. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock, punched it with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, and colored it with Light Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Stampin' Blends Markers.

Snail Mail Happy Mail Enclosed Card

I CASEd my card from this awesome swap card that I received from Dawn Olchefske! I loved her dancing DSP strips on the background and the floating hearts!

 

Background Basics—Dawn stamped the hearts in Pool Party ink onto a Pool Party 4" x 5-1/4" background and added three coordinating 1" x 4" strips of Snail Mail DSP. She tied the Blushing Bride Snail Mail Twine around the layer before mounting it onto a Bermuda Bay card base.

 

Fantastic Focal Point—Dawn stamped the happy mail image in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Pool Party cardstock and punched it with the Postage Stamp Punch. She stamped the same Snailed It image in Real Red onto Blushing Bride cardstock and die-cut the tiny envelope with Snail Dies to adhere to the postage stamp. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
