I included this card in last week's LIVE Class Kit and it was inspired by a swap card I received. I love the stamping and decorative flower die-cut layers!
Background Basics—I stamped the Purple Posy card base with an Ornate Style floral image in Highland Heather ink. Then, I layered a 3" x 4" piece of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper onto a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow before mounting the layers onto the card front.
Focal Point—I die-cut a So Saffron Ornate Borders decorative floral die-cut. It's a little longer than the card, so I snipped it between the largest flowers and overlapped the border as I attached it with SNAIL adhesive. I stamped the Ornate Thanks sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a Whisper White Ornate Layers die-cut and popped it up over the border.
Finishing Touches—To create the Blackberry Bliss Rhinestones, I simply colored the clear Basic Rhinestones with the bullet-tip end of a Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends Marker. I love being able to alter rhinestones to any color!
CASEd from Monica Giberti.
Two Cool—I received a swap card from Monica Giberti and I CASEd her card nearly exactly to include in my 20-Card Ornate Garden Class. This card begins with an Old Olive card base and it's stamped with an Ornate Style image in Old Olive ink. The Ornate Garden DSP is layered onto an Early Expresso mat.
Sweet Sentiment—The border is the same So Saffron color and the sentiment is stamped in Terracotta Tile. I didn't use a die-cut for the sentiment this time, I just trimmed it to 4" x 3/4".
Finishing Touches—I adorned the sentiment with one large Gilded Gem.
