This last pair of cards from my Pleased As Punch LIVE Class features a fun fold and a cool window opening on the front flap! I was inspired to create my own version when I received the Mango Melody swap card (pictured on the right above) from Terri Gaines. I'll give all the basic measurements on this post, but be sure to watch the LIVE Class Replay video linked below to see how to assemble it properly.
Card Base Basics—There are actually three parts to this card design. First the quarter sheet card base, a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Highland Heather. Secondly, the inside of the card, an 8" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, scored at the 4" mark.
And finally, the front flap, which is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Seaside Spray cardstock, scored at the 3-1/4" mark. I die-cut a Stitched So Sweetly window on the top part of this card front, then embossed it with the 3D Subtle Embossing Folder. The tab on this front piece adheres to the back-side of the edge of the Whisper White card base.
Center Card Décor—Before assembling, I decorated the right "fold" side of the Whisper White card base (it opens to the right) with a 1" x 5-1/4" strip of Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper. Next, I stamped a Timeless Tulips stem and leaf in Granny Apple Green, positioning it so the flower will eventually show through the front window.
Inside The Card—I also stamped a Timeless Tulip on the inside of the card in Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather. In this photo, you can more easily see that the front card flap is adhered behind the left edge of the white card base. Once all of the stamping was complete, I mounted the Whisper White card onto the Highland Heather card base using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Pleasing Tulip—I punched a tulip shape from the Pleased As Punch DSP with the Tulip Builder Punch and popped it up over the stem. I added a few Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins and a Whisper White Baker's Twine bow.
Sweet Sentiment—I added a 3/4" wide strip of Seaside Spray gingham paper from the In Color DSP pack across the bottom of the front and also the bottom of the strip that shows on the right side. Next, I stamped the Timeless Tulips sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 2-1/4" x 3/4" piece of Purple Posy. I added a 1/4" strip of Granny Apple Green banner behind it before popping it up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Swap card created by Terri Gaines.
Two Cool—The second card is the original swap card I received from Terri Gaines that inspired my card above. She started with a Granny Apple Green card base decorated with the striped Pleased As Punch DSP. Her front Mango Melody window was also die-cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies, this time in a scallop rectangle shape.
She cut a small Granny Apple Green stem for her tulip and added a couple of leaves punched from the Pleased As Punch DSP. So cute! Thanks for sharing your adorable card, Terri!

This style of fun-fold card is a classic and works beautifully with the Thoughtful Blooms images! Once you have the background stamped, it's so easy to add the punched flowers from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper for quick pops of color!
Card Basics—This two-part card begins with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Pool Party card base, scored at the 3" mark. I decorated the front flap of the base with a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Pool Party cardstock that was texture embossed with the 3D Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.
Front Flap—The second part of the card base is a Thick Whisper White piece measuring 8-1/2" x 3" and scored at 4-1/4". I adhered it to the inside of the Pool Party card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive, so it opens to the right and the Pool Party flap opens to the left.
Focal Point—I stamped a sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts Sale-a-Bration stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the upper corner of a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of Whisper White first for better positioning of the flowers. Then, I stamped the leafy vines from the Thoughtful Blooms Sale-a-Bration stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink three times around the greeting. I finished by adding some tiny flower images around the vines in Pool Party ink.
Punched Blooms—I finished by punching out some colorful, pre-printed flowers from the Pleased As Punch DSP with the Small Blooms Punch, another selection from the Sale-a-Bration Flyer. They are popped up with Dimensionals and topped with Rhinestone Jewels.
Inside The Card—I stamped the second part of the Sending You Thoughts sentiment on the inside and added a single punched bloom to decorate.
Two Cool—The second card has a Blushing Bride card base and is decorated with some Pleased As Punch DSP on the front flap.
I stamped a different greeting from the same stamp set and put fewer flowers on this one. The tiny flowers are stamped in Blushing Bride, too. Love these colors...so sweet!

The adorable umbrella patterns in the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper are perfect for spring showers, friend cards, get well wishes and baby showers! Today, I'm sharing the cute front flap card that I featured in this week's LIVE Class! Pleased As Punch DSP!The Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper is the ultimate in coordination! With spring right around the corner, the Under My Umbrella stamp set is perfect for all kinds of spring cards! And, when you combine it with the pretty, pre-printed umbrella images in the Pleased As Punch DSP, cute cards can come together so quickly!
Card Basics—The base of this card starts with a quarter sheet of Pool Party cardstock, 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". I embossed a 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer with the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card base with Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives.
Front Flap—Next, I created the "front flap"...a 10-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at the middle at the 5-1/4" mark. It's mounted onto the card base with more Tear & Tape. I decorated the front flap with a 2-1/4" x 5" piece of Pleased As Punch DSP.
Focal Point—I die-cut a large Stitched Shapes Whisper White circle and stamped the Under My Umbrella raindrops image in Balmy Blue over the entire piece. It's mounted with SNAIL onto the front.
Next, I punched out an umbrella pattern and umbrella handle from the Pleased As Punch DSP with the Umbrella Builder Punch. The handle is attached with SNAIL and the umbrella is popped up with Dimensionals. So cute!
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Under My Umbrella sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3" x 3/4" piece of So Saffron cardstock, fishtail cut the right end and adhered it flush with the edge of the DSP at the bottom of the flap. I like the way it hangs off the side of the flap.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the Under My Umbrella flower image onto a scrap of Whisper White, then colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers in Light Poppy Parade, Light Granny Apple Green and Light Flirty Flamingo. I hand-trimmed the image and adhered it to the banner, then topped the flowers with Rhinestone Jewels. I also added a larger Rhinestone Jewel to the umbrella, which makes it look like it's glistening with rain.
Inside The Card—I stamped another floral image to decorate the inside of the flap and colored that with Light Balmy Blue, Light Flirty Flamingo and Light Granny Apple Green Blends Markers.
Two Cool—The second card is very similar to the first, I just wanted to make it all white, including the card base, so that the colors of the umbrella really popped!
I selected the rainbow striped umbrella pattern this time, but there are so many sweet colors and patterns to choose from in the DSP!
If you decide to get my LIVE Class Kit, you'll get the parts & pieces to create two of these umbrella cards and your umbrella pattern will vary. What a fun card to give to a "forever friend!"

I had so much fun sharing super-cute Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper projects yesterday during my LIVE Class! Did you miss it? No worries! You can watch the replay linked below!
Today, I'm featuring the pair of cool, wide gate-fold cards that I shared, one of which was created by Susie Wood!
Pleased As Punch DSP!The Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper is the ultimate in coordination! The four double-sided patterns in this 12-sheet 12x12" pack can be punched out with all the NEW punches from this season: Heart Punch Pack, Umbrella Punch, Tulip Punch and Small Bloom Punch! It features lovely coordinating patterns on the back in pretty spring shades! It's all part of the Coordination Product Release and is available while supplies last through March 31, 2020!

I had never seen this particular style of gate-fold card until I received a swap card from Susie Wood, and I couldn't wait to share it with you! I love that the gap in the center of the card is connected by the focal point and hides the message inside. I also love that it can stand on its own for display, and fold flat to fit into a standard A2 size envelope.
Card Base—I began with a Balmy Blue card base that measured 11" x 5-1/2". The measurements for this card are a little tricky because they are so small, but if you have the NEW Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer they will be no problem, because it has measurements in the sixteenths! Score at 1-11/16", 3-3/8", 7-5/8" and 9-5/16", then accordion fold each gate.
TIP: To help it lay flat, use the pointed end of a Bone Folder to really dig in and deeply crease the folds.
Gate Panels—I decorated each of the gate fronts with the Pleased As Punch striped paper measuring 1-1/2" x 5-1/4".
Focal Point—I stamped the stem from Timeless Tulips in Pear Pizzazz ink onto a 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then matted it onto a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Daffodil Delight. It's adhered onto a Balmy Blue scalloped rectangle die-cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Next, I punched out a tulip and leaf shape from the Pleased As Punch DSP with the Tulip Builder Punch. I popped those up with Dimensionals. Then I popped up the entire focal point onto the left gate panel using Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the Timeless Tulips sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-1/4" x 1/2" piece of Pool Party and popped that up over the tulip. I also adorned a few Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins around the tulip for a little shine.
Inside The Card—I cut another 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" Whisper White piece to add to the inside of the card directly behind the focal point. You could add some stamped tulips or punched tulips to it to dress it up a bit.
Swap Card created by Susie Wood.
Two Cool—The second card is Susie Wood's original swap card that inspired my CASE above! She started with a Daffodil Delight card base accented with the same striped DSP.
Her layers consisted of Daffodil Delight on a Mango Melody scallop rectangle.
Focal Point—Susie used a different color of tulip and added a second leaf and added a bit of Wink of Stella shimmer. She also adorned her focal point with Gingham Gala sequins. The sentiment is stamped in Mango Melody onto a Daffodil Delight piece and she added some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, too! Thanks for sharing your beautiful card, Susie!

I received a super-cute Thoughtful Blooms swap card created by Julie Davison and decided to CASE her card to feature at my Kickoff Party last month! Hers is the card on the right in the above photo. When I created my version, I was surprised at how easily the Thoughtful Blooms elements came together to create lovely floral accents.
Background Basics—I stamped the interlocking border image from Thoughtful Blooms in So Saffron ink across a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of So Saffron cardstock, then mounted the layer onto a Bermuda Bay card base. Next, I adhered a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of So Saffron gingham paper from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack.
Terrific Twine—Have you selected the Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins Combo Pack from the Sale-a-Bration Flyer? I could have used either Daffodil Delight or Bermuda Bay twine from this pack to adorn the card front. It adds just a little bit of sparkle!
Focal Point—I stamped the Thoughtful Blooms leaves image in the corner of a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White using Pear Pizzazz ink. Next, I added the tiny blooms in So Saffron, and stamped a Memento Tuxedo Black sentiment in the upper left corner.
I stamped the larger solid blooms in Bermuda Bay ink onto Whisper White scraps and punched them out with the Small Bloom Punch. They are popped up with Dimensionals and adorned with Champagne Rhinestones. So sweet!
Swap Card created by Julie Davison.
Two Cool—The second card is Julie Davison's swap card and the background is created in a slightly different color combo. She used Pear Pizzazz for the card base, So Saffron for the background layer and Grapefruit Grove for the gingham accent piece.
Bitty Blooms—Julie stamped the leaves in Old Olive, the mini flowers in Grapefruit Grove and the larger bloom in So Saffron or Daffodil Delight. I love that she tilted the focal point a little for extra interest. Thanks for sharing your cute card, Julie!

I'm a big fan of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, and one of my favorites from the current Mini Catalog is the ultra-feminine Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP pack. Today, I'm sharing two cool cards featuring the two fun & fancy sides of this unique paper!
Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP!48 pretty, feminine sheets that are fabulous for both spring and "girly" cards! One side features the prettiest floral prints and the other side has plenty of female-oriented patterns with shoes, perfume, purses and lipsticks! How fun! You receive 4 each of 12 double-sided sheets, all in lovely spring shades!
Nothing beats coordinating products for limitless creativity and Stampin' Up! has just released 6 cool new Coordinating Products to go with some of our favorite Mini Catalog & Sale-a-Bration items! Check out the video above to see the new products in action! Available thru March 31, 2020, while supplies last.
There are so many pretty papers in the Best Dressed pack that I knew I wanted to create a couple of cards that really showcased those cool coordinating patterns! The shortened card front design is perfect for that, and all I really needed was a simple sentiment and a couple of accents to finish them up in style!
Background Basics—I started with a Mint Macaron card base measuring 7-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at the 3-1/4" mark. I decorated the front with a 3" x 5-1/4" piece of my favorite floral pattern from the pack, then added a 1" x 5-1/4" strip along the inside right side so that it peeks out from under the card front.
Next, I added a 3" x 1" strip of Mint Macaron card stock across the lower half of the card front to create a foundation for the focal point. I also decorated the front flap with some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, tied into a double-knot.
Fancy Focal Point—I stamped the Dressed To Impressed sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. I inked up the Dressed To Impressed splotch in Highland Heather, stamped off once, then stamped over the top of the sentiment to give it a little pop.
Finishing Touches—I punched out two Old Olive leaves with the Leaf Punch and adhered them to the back of the circle, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a few Champagne Rhinestones. So sweet!
Two Cool—The second card starts with a Blackberry Bliss card base, decorated with the Best Dressed DSP in the purses pattern and a coordinating striped Daffodil strip on the inside.
Fancy Focal Point—This time, I die-cut a larger circle and stamped a different sentiment with the same stamped-off Highland Heather splotch. Next, I hand-cut a perfume bottle image from another Best Dressed DSP sheet and adhered it to the focal point.
Inside The Card—Don't forget to decorate the inside! I added another Dressed To Impress sentiment with the same splotch. Love it!

There's just something about these cute ladybugs that are irresistible! I created these cards for my Kickoff Party last month and I love how simple & sweet they turned out!
And, remember...although I didn't use them on this card, you can now purchase the coordinating Ladybug Dies as part of the Coordinated Product Release, going on now through March 31, 2020. Details here.
Background Basics—I started by texture embossing a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. Talk about some texture! The deep ridges and valleys of this folder are indeed just like a sheet of corrugated cardboard!
TIP: I recommend lightly spritzing the cardstock with some water before running it through the machine to reduce tearing the paper. I didn't spritz, so you can see some of the breakage of the paper fibers.
Next, I tied some of the Daffodil Delight Metallic Baker's Twine around the textured layer. That twine comes in the Sale-a-Bration Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins Combo Pack that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order. I mounted the layer onto a Melon Mambo card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Lovely Ladybug—I stamped the Little Ladybug image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut, then colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used Lovely Lipstick Dark for the wings, Smoky Slate Light for the body, Petal Pink Light for the face and Mango Melody Dark for the flower. I finished by adding some Wink of Stella glimmer to the wings and flower. After matting it onto a Black scallop circle die-cut with the Layering Circles Dies, I adhered the layers onto the card front with Tear & Tape.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Little Ladybug sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Stitched Shapes So Saffron circle and mounted it with more Tear & Tape. I adorned it with a single Champagne Rhinestone (or you can color a Basic Rhinestone with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Markers).
Two Cool—The the second card, I started with a Coastal Cabana Corrugated texture, tied with the Bermuda Bay Twine from the Combo Pack and mounted onto a Bermuda Bay card base.
I used the same Little Ladybug image and same basic layout, too, just changing up the colors a bit.
Ladybug—This time the ladybug is colored with Calypso Coral Blends markers with a Bermuda Bay flower. I also added a little Flirty Flamingo to its cheeks.
Finishing Touches—I tried out a different sentiment this time, stamped on Grapefruit Grove card stock, and topped it off with a Noble Peacock Rhinestone.

Don't overlook the pretty field of poppies image in the Painted Poppies stamp set. It creates a lovely border or background image on your projects. I love how it's featured here as the focal point on this easy-to-create card from my Peaceful Poppies LIVE Class.
Field of Flowers—I started with a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White and I stamped the flowers across the middle, leaving about 1" of white space underneath. Next I colored in the poppies using the Dark Poppy Parade and Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Markers. Notice that I just added a bit of color to the center of the flowers without filling in the color completely. Leaving a little white space around the edges gives the flowers a lighter more artsy look.
Next, I stamped the Painted Poppies splotch image in Pool Party ink just above the row of flowers to add some interest and give the field of poppies some additional texture. It's that soft textured background that really makes the card, in my opinion.
Background Basics—I mounted the stamped layer onto a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Basic Black, then adhered it to a Bermuda Bay card base. I added a 5" x 3/4" strip of Peaceful Poppies striped Designer Series Paper along the bottom to give card a little visual weight along the bottom.
Sweet Sentiment—The Painted Poppies sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-3/4" x 1/2" strip of Pool Party cardstock, fishtail cut one end and popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I added just a few Pool Party jewels from the Holiday Rhinestones pack in the flower field, as well as on the sentiment banner.
Too Cool team member Janet Shinn made a similar card for one of our team swaps in a fabulous color combo!
Flower Focal Point—Janet began by stamping the same Painted Poppies image in Memento Black across the bottom of a 5-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock. She used the Light Rich Razzleberry and Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends to color in her poppies. She stamped the background splotches in Lovely Lipstick and Rich Razzleberry inks stamped off one time for a lighter look.
Janet also used a brayer to add a little bit of Pool Party to the top edge of the focal point for a lovely sky. She finished by stamping a retired Forever Lovely greeting in Rich Razzleberry ink. It's mounted onto a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" layer of Basic Black.
Background Basics—Next, Janet added a 5-1/2" x 1" strip of Peaceful Poppies DSP along the bottom of the black layer. She then wrapped some 1/2" Black Satin Ribbon around the layer, securing the ends on the back. She added a Black Satin knot on the side of the ribbon with a Glue Dot to make a faux-bow. Cute!
Finishing Touches—Janet finished by mounting the black layer onto a Thick Whisper White card base and adding some Rhinestone Jewels that she colored with Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Markers.

I adore this swap card that I received from Ruth Bingle! She used the NEW Birthday Dies from the Coordination Product Release to isolate the the flowers from the Happy Birthday To You cake image and pop it up. So sweet!
Background Basics—Ruth started by stamping the Happy Birthday To You sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then embossed it with the Country Floral Embossing Folder. It's mounted onto a Thick Whisper White card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive. She added a 4" x 2" piece of Seaside Spray patterned paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6x6" Designer Series Paper pack.
Focal Point—Ruth stamped the Happy Birthday To You cake in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White then colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers. She used Petal Pink for the cake and Seaside Spray for the cake pedestal. Next, she stamped another cake image onto Whisper White and colored the flowers with Seaside Spray, Granny Apple Green and Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends before die-cutting with the Birthday dies. The flowers are popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touch—Finally, Ruth tied a Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon bow and attached it with a Glue Dot onto the side of the cake.
Rose Ward sent me this pretty purple swap card featuring the Happy Birthday To You Sale-a-Bration stamp set with several other NEW Mini Catalog items.
Background Basics—Rose started by embossing a 3-7/8" x 5" piece of Purple Posy with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. She also added a 1" x 5" purple floral pattern from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper down the side. Before mounting the layer onto a Highland Heather card base, she wrapped some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the bottom securing the ends on the back.
Focal Point—Rose stamped the Happy Birthday To You cake in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White, then colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers: Purple Posy, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. She hand-cut the image because it was created before the Coordination Product Release, but now you can get dies that will cut out the cake shape for you! Woohoo! It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—She stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink onto Whisper White, then punched it out with the Label My Fancy Punch and popped it up with Dimensionals.

My final pair of cards from my Positive Thoughts LIVE Class were actually one created by me and a swap card created by LeeAnn Greff that inspired my card.
Background Basics—The Blushing Bride card base is cut a little shorter for a small front card panel. It measures 5-1/2" x 7" and it's scored at 4-1/4". I adhered a 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of the NEW Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper from the Coordinating Products Release on the front panel.
Focal Point—I die-cut a Whisper White label using the NEW Nature's Thoughts dies for my focal point background. Then, I inked up the Positive Thoughts leaves image with Smoky Slate, stamped off once, then stamped onto the label for a light background. I mounted the label onto a 3" x 4-1/2" piece of Copper Foil and popped it up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Two Blooms—I stamped the Positive Thoughts bloom image in both Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut it with the coordinating Nature's Thoughts die. They are added over the leaves with SNAIL adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Positive Thoughts sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto a 3-1/4" x 7/8" strip of Petal Pink cardstock, then fishtail cut the right end and mounted it flush along the edge of the label. I finished by adding a couple of Champagne Rhinestones.
Copper Butterfly—The butterfly image was stamped in VersaMark ink onto Whisper White, sprinkled with Copper Embossing Powder and heat-set with a Heat Tool until glossy and smooth. I die-cut that with the Nature's Thoughts dies, as well, then attached it with a Glue Dot. I finished with a single Champagne Rhinestone on the butterfly body.
Inside The card—I die-ct a second Whisper White label for the inside of the card, stamping it with the leaves with stamped-off Smoky Slate and the butterfly with stamped-off Flirty Flamingo inks. Sweetness!
Swap Card Created by LeeAnn Greff
Two Cool—The second card is the swap card that inspired my card and it was created by LeeAnn Greff. I love the bold, cheery colors and I especially loved the fun opening.
Background Basics—LeeAnn started with a Granny Apple Green card base with the same 5-1/2" x 7" measurements. Her card front is decorated with another pattern from the Pleased As Punch DSP that gives a subtle striped & distressed pattern to the card front.
Focal Point—LeeAnn stamped onto the label with Granny Apple Green leaves and Highland Heather blooms, then layered it onto a Highland Heather mat. Before mounting it onto the card front, she adhered a Whisper White decorative edge created with the the Delicate Lace dies.
Sweet Sentiment—She stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather and attached a Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon knot onto the banner with a Glue Dot.
Butterfly—Finally, she stamped the butterfly in Highland Heather and added a Gorgeous Grape rhinestone from the Noble Peacock Rhinestone pack. Loveliness!
