Judy's Two Cool Lovely Roses Cards

Hi Stamping Friends,
 
Each time a new catalog is released, I love to participate in swaps with some of my Stampin' Up! friends!  Today, I selected two swap cards that I wanted to share and when I looked to see who created them, they were both made by Judy Garza!  So, enjoy her creativity on these two lovely "love" themed cards!

Forever Lovely Roses - Judy Garza

Forever Lovely Roses Card
Judy's first card is created with the beautiful Forever Lovely Bundle featuring the Lovely Flowers Edgelits dies. The card may seem a little complicated, but Stampin' Up! designed it so that you could create the look very easily.  
 
Fancy Floral Background—Judy started with two piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 4" x 5-1/4". On one of the sheets, she stamped the cluster of roses in Lovely Lipstick ink across the card. Next, she stamped the leaves and flourishes image over the top of the roses in Pear Pizzazz ink. Since it's a see-thru photopolymer set, you can line the images up and get a beautiful floral border with two stamps!  How awesome!  
 
Forever Lovely Roses 3 - Judy Garza
 
Delicate Die-Cuts—For the die-cut overlay, Judy ran the second Whisper White piece through the Big Shot using the Lovely Flowers Edgelits die.  She lined up the die-cut over the flowers, adhered it to the layer, then trimmed off any excess on the bottom.  Both layers were mounted onto a Lovely Lipstick card base.
 
Forever Lovely Roses 2 - Judy Garza

Sweet Sentiment—Judy stamped the Forever Lovely sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink onto a pretty Whisper White label she die-cut with the Rose Trellis Thinlits.  She layered some All My Love ribbon under it with some Glue Dots, then popped up the sentiment with Dimensionals.  So sweet!

Climbing Roses Sending Love Card

Judy's second card features the beautiful images from the Climbing Roses stamp set. If you love to color with Stampin' Blends, this bundle is perfect for that!

Climbing Roses 2 - Judy Garza

Background Basics—I love the way Judy did her background!  She stamped the Climbing Roses image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Soft Sea Foam cardstock and she colored the flowers with the Lovely Lipstick and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers. Then, she ran the layer through the Big Shot with the Subtle Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder!  It's just a little bit of texture, but it adds so much elegance!

Climbing Roses 3 - Judy Garza

Sweet Sentiment—Judy stamped the Climbing Roses greeting in Lovely Lipstick ink onto a scrap of Whisper White, then punched it with the 1/1/2" Circle Punch.  She textured this layer with the Subtle Folder, as well.  Next, she die-cut a pretty Rose Trellis label shape from Old Olive cardstock and adhered that to the card front, popping the circle up with Dimensionals over the top.

Finishing Touches—Judy finished the card by coloring an Epoxy Heart Droplet with Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Markers and adhering it under the greeting.  Such a cute and fitting accent!
