Merry Christmas To All Half Front Cards

The All Is Bright Designer Series Paper is some of my favorite Christmas paper of all time!  I love the photograph images on one side and the more graphic coordinating images on the other side.  Nothing shows off the beautiful coordination of these papers than this 1/2 cut fronts on today's cards.

Background Basics—This fun opening card starts with a 6-1/2" x 5-1/2" Gray Granite card base, scored and folded at the 2-1/4" mark on the 6-1/2" side.  I decorated the front panel with a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of the pretty ornaments pattern of the All Is Bright DSP.

Inside Décor—I adhered a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of coordinating All Is Bright DSP to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White for the inside. I stamped a Merry Christmas To All sentiment in Gray Granite, then added a little curly accent in Crumb Cake ink at the bottom.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the larger Merry Christmas To All sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a 3" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Silver Embossing Powder, then added that curly accent again in Crumb Cake ink.

Lovely Layers—I layered the embossed greeting onto a 3-1/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Gold Foil, then popped it up with Dimensionals onto a 2-3/4" x 3" piece of Gray Granite cardstock.  I attached the focal point onto the left front panel with more Dimensionals.  Finally, I added a couple of white Adhesive-Backed Sequins for a finishing touch.

Two Cool—If you love a traditional Christmas color combination, this version of the card design is for you!

Background Basics—I used one of the pretty pine bough All Is Bright patterns for the front Shaded Spruce card flap.

I added a coordinating Read Red striped All Is Bright pattern to the inside.  The sentiment is in Shaded Spruce and curly accent in Gray Granite.

Sweet Sentiment & Finishing Touches—This time I embossed the greeting in Gold Embossing Powder and added a Cherry Cobbler curly accent on the focal point.  It's layered onto Gold Foil, like the first card, and popped up onto a layer of Cherry Cobbler.  I finished it off with a couple of gold Metallic Pearls.  So festive!
