Hi Stamping Friends!

I've been putting the finishing touches on my craft fair booth today!  I can't wait to finally be in my first booth tomorrow!  If you're in the Fort Wayne area, please stop by Peace United Church of Christ between 9am – 3pm and say hi!

Today, I have a Too Cool Tip Video to share with you. I've had several stampers ask me how I store my framelits & thinlits so they don't get lost, so I decided the best way to answer was to show you how I store mine.

But first, a reminder that Saturday is the FINAL DAY to register for my November Stamp-of-the-Month Class Kit featuring Jolly Friends!  Sign up today!

Too Cool Tip—Organizing & Storing Framelits & Thinlits

When I open up a new framelits or thinlits package, I don't like having to fight the super-strong adhesive that's on the packing sheet.  But, I also don't like all my dies floating around loose in the envelope, because I'm afraid that I'll lose one, especially if it's small.  I've had several stamping friends recently ask me how I store my framelits & thinlits.  See how I do it on the Too Cool Tip—Organizing & Storing Framelits & Thinlits Video.

  1. Good idea and I’ve done that……but, I want to keep the stamp set with the dies so I’ve taped the magnet to the back of the case (still has the stamp set in it) and put a “D” on the edge of the case. That way I keep them both together and know that they’re is a die set with it. I do want to figure out how to catalogue/organize them though because I have way too many. (Did I just say I had too many? – impossible…lol)

  2. Such a neat idea! I do something similar. I was able to get 25 5×7 Adhesive Magnets from Marietta Magnetics for a total of $12.88. I love them! The cardboard in our paper packs makes a wonderful backing. I also take a silver permanent marker & draw around each item on the magnetic sheet. That way it is easy to see if one is missing. Thanks for sharing your tip! Stampers are so great about sharing!

  3. I also draw around each framelit with the white signo pen so I know if one is out being used. That way it isn’t laying between papers or wherever.

  5. I love the idea of drawing around the dies with a marker to know how to put them back and make sure none are missing. Great idea!
Also received an email about 10 sheets of 8×11 magnetic sheets from Oriental Trading for around $9.00.
Thanks for the comments & tips!
