Hi Stamping Friends!

Today, I'm sharing a couple of adorable cards created by my Too Cool team members!

Debbie - dino riffic

1) No Bones About It Dino-Rrific Card—Debbie Groulik shared this adorable kids birthday card at a recent team swap.  I love that she used gave it a "girl" color twist, because girls can like dinosaurs, and boys can like pink, too!

Background Basics—Debbie started with a 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Blushing Bride patterned paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.  She gave it a softer touch by rounding the corners with the Project Life Corner Rounder, then adhered it a little tilted on the Wisteria Wonder card base.

Dino Stamping—The dinosaur from the No Bones About It stamp set was stamped in the middle of a 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White with Blushing Bride ink.  A little Wisteria Wonder birthday hat was stamped on it's head, with a little Rhinestone Jewel on top.

She stamped a border of dino footprints along the bottom in Wisteria Wonder.  So cute!

Sweet Sentiment—The No Bones About It greeting was stamped along the top in Wisteria Wonder.

Finishing Touches—Debbie finished the card by rounding the corners of the top piece, then wrapping it with retired Blushing Bride Baker's Twine, tied in a simple knot. You could easily substitute White Baker's Twine instead. Before adhering the layer to the card front with Dimensionals, she added a 3-1/2" x 5/8" strip of Blushing Bride card stock, fishtailed on the ends, onto the back with SNAIL.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.

Jodi - lots of love 3

2) Love You Lots Card—Our second card was created by Jodi Geers for a team swap.  Those hedge hogs are so cute, but my favorite part of the card is the little pocket that holds cash!

Background Basics—Jodi started this card by stamping the tiny flower image from Botanical Blooms in Melon Mambo ink all over the background of the Melon Mambo card base.  Next, she added a 5-1/2" x 2-1/4" piece of Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper in a fun black chevron pattern.

Sweet Sentiment—The Endless Birthday Wishes greeting was stamped in Memento Black Ink leaving plenty of room for the pocket focal point.

Pocket Full of Money—Jodi used the now retired Envelope Liner Framelits to create a little money-holder pocket on this card.  You could simply use a 3"x 3" piece of Whisper White for the pocket base instead.  She used some Tear & Tape Adhesive around the three edges to adhere it to the card after stamping and coloring.  The flap of the envelope was covered in more Pop of Pink DSP and secured with some SNAIL and a piece of Pop of Pink Washi Tape.  You could add a strip of DSP across the top in place of the envelope shaped flap.

Jodi - lots of love

Two Sweeties—Jodi stamped the hedge hogs from the Love You Lots exclusive host stamp set in Memento Black Ink, then colored them in with Crumb Cake and Melon Mambo inks and a Blender Pen.

Pocket Pretties—When I was making my version of Jodi's card, I messed up and accidentally sealed the pocket closed.  So I added the Pop of Pink Washi Tape to the top instead.  Ooops!  The flap was decorated with a few die-cut flower layers from the Botanical Builder Thinlits in Basic Black, Melon Mambo & Whisper White.

Jodi - lots of love 2

Finishing Touches—Lastly, Jodi added Melon Mambo flowers punched with the Blossom Bunch Punch and topped with Rhinestone Jewels.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
