Hi Stamping Friends!
I'm getting ready to stamp with some friends tonight at Beth's private class!
We've got about 12 people coming to create these cards. I can't wait!

Beautiful Butterfly Collage—Today's project is a project that Rita Berning brought for our Too Cool Team to create at our last shoebox swap. Look at all of those pretty layers and textures! I think it's absolutely gorgeous!
Background Basics—This card starts by stamping a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Dictionary background stamp in Sahara Sand ink. Then, we stamped the dots image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set in Sahara Sand near the bottom left corner. Next, the layer gets some texture by running it through the Lovely Lace embossing folder.
The stamped layer is matted on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sahara Sand card stock, then adhered to a Soft Sky card base.
Soft & Sweet Butterfly—The eye-catching part of this card is the amazing Butterfly Thinlits die-cut, cut from Sahara Sand card stock, then sponged lightly with some Lost Lagoon ink. One of my favorite parts of this card is the Gold Foil Butterfly die-cut that is layered behind the main butterfly. I love how the shininess peeks through! A few Pearl Jewels accent the body.
I also love the unique oval ring on the background that draws your eye to the butterfly. A fun design element created with the Ovals Collection Framelits.
Sweet Sentiment—A Petite Pairs sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede on a 2" x 1" tag that's hand-cut on the angled end and punched with the 1/4" Handheld Punch. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Frilly Tassel—Even the tassel on the tag is layered with fun textures! The new Sahara Sand Lace Trim is paired up with 1/8" Soft Sky Taffeta Ribbon, threaded through the tag and tied with some Gold Baker's Twine. The twine is unraveled for even more texture.
