I'm super-excited to show you today's project! It's one of the cards we'll be creating at the "Last Thursdays" card class this week highlighting another Sale-a-Bration selection that will no longer be available after March 31, 2015.

This is my last hurrah with the awesome Irresistibly Yours resist paper that is part of the Sale-a-Bration promotion. I'm sure gonna miss this fun paper! I haven't nearly had my fill of fun with it yet!
CASEd from Patty Bennett at Patty's Stamping Spot.
Background Basics—I started with a Crushed Curry card base that's layered with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White.
Stamped Resist—I cut a 4-1/2" x 3" piece of the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper with the blooms pattern on it. Then I stamped several flowers on it from the Flower Patch stamp set:
- The largest scalloped flower is stamped in Crushed Curry. I stamped it twice on adjacent corners.
- The medium pointy flower is stamped in Calypso Coral. Also stamped twice.
- The small pointy flower is stamped in Strawberry Slush. Stamped 4-5 times to fill in the spaces.
Sponging The Flowers—After stamping a flower, use a sponge to rub in circles over the flower to pick up the resisted ink and use it to soften the edges of the flower. Although it looks like it, I did not sponge on additional ink between the flowers. The soft color between the blooms is all from whatever ink was resisted.
Sweet Sentiment—I added a 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" Whisper White panel to the front, stamped with a Yippee Skippee sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. A little Bitty Butterfly, punched from Calypso Coral card stock and adorned with Pearl Jewels, adds a sweet accent.
Fantastic Flower—I stamped the Crazy About You flower in Strawberry Slush onto Whisper White, then punched it out with the Flower Medallion Punch. The flower center image is from the Petal Potpourri set, stamped in Crushed Curry and punched with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. The larger flower is popped up with Dimensionals and the smaller flower is topped with another Pearl Jewel.
Two Cool—I love, Love, LOVE the second, vertical card the best because of the blue/green colors! It's all mounted on a Coastal Cabana card base.
I used the same Flower Patch images, but this time, I stamped on the leaves pattern of Irresistibly Yours DSP.
- The largest scalloped flower is stamped in Pistachio Pudding.
- The medium pointy flower is stamped in Coastal Cabana.
- The small pointy flower is stamped in Island Indigo.
The large Crazy About You flower is stamped in Island Indigo, while the small Petal Potpourri flower center is stamped in Pistachio Pudding.
I chose another Yippee Skippee sentiment and added a Coastal Cabana Bitty Butterfly to this one. Did I happen to mention that I LOVE this one?!! I do! I do!
