I mentioned in yesterday's post that ornaments seem to be everywhere this holiday season and, case-in-point, many of my stamping friends have been sharing projects in the ornament theme!  Today's Showcase highlights a variety of ornament ideas to inspire you to jump in on the trend, too!

Candlelight ornament - peggy green
Candlelight ornament - peggy green 2

Created by Peggy Tassler, Stamp Club member.

Peggy tried the Candlelight Christmas Woven Paper Ornament that I posted yesterday, and she discovered something interesting…the Blossom Punch shape fits perfectly in between the Snow Flurry die-cut snowflakes!  How cool is that?!

Peggy also tried the same ornament in Shimmery White Paper and punched the Blossom Punch out of Silver Glimmer Paper.  OOOooohh, so sparkly!  Although the Snowflake Punch she used is now retired, but you can get a pretty shape from the Snow Flurry Die.

Carmen - leaves & ornament

Created by Carmen DeBruce, Too Cool Demo Team.

Carmen used the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle and Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper to create a simple, but elegant, ornament card.  (Buy both and get a FREE Festive Paper-Piercing Pack this month only!).  I love the use of the Bird Punch for the foliage.  Greetings of the Season sentiment.

Whitman - lattice ornament 2

Created by Sheryl Spitzley at Sherly Spitzley's Stamp Corner.

Sheryl had an awesome ornaments display at Ronda Wade's Creative Convention and this was one of my favorites!  She used the Lattice Die and Silver Glimmer Paper to create a gorgeous, sparkly ornament!  There are four die-cuts scored down the center and adhered together.  A Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon was threaded down the center for the hanger and to add color.

If you make the Lattice Ornament above, don't waste all those little Silver Glimmer Paper cut-outs!  Sheryl showed how you can re-assemble them to make a sparkly, patterned card!  Great tip!  Also features: Greetings of the Season sentiment and Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon bow.

Swaps - jodi chock-full

Created by Jodi Geers, Too Cool Demo Team.

With the new Ornament Keepsakes stamps, it's easy to overlook the ornament in the Chock-Full of Cheer set from the Annual Catalog.  Jodi used a 1" Circle Punch to pop up the center on this pretty Real Red and Whisper White card.  Also featured: Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Scallop Oval Punch and Extra-Large Oval Punch.

Whitman - snowflake ornament

Created by Sheryl Spitzley at Sherly Spitzley's Stamp Corner.

The beautiful shapes from the Snow Flurry Die were combined to create an intricate hanging ornament.  Features Midnight Muse and Whisper White card stock, Champagne Glimmer Paper and Rhinestone Jewels.

Ss demo 2 - carmen ornament keepsakes

Created by Carmen DeBruce, Too Cool Demo Team.

Carmen used a classy Basic Gray and Very Vanilla color scheme along with the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle  Also features: Curly Cute sentiment, Fancy Fan Impressions Folder, Pearl Jewels, and Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

Whitman - suede ornament

Created by Sheryl Spitzley at Sherly Spitzley's Stamp Corner.

Sheryl created one of the Ornament Keepsakes Holiday Ornaments featured on the front of the Holiday Catalog, but this one is in gorgeous neutral colors!  The Ornament Keepsakes stamps are inked in Soft Suede and River Rock, and the project is embellished with Crumb Cake Tulle and Early Espresso Tulle, Candlelight Christmas Paper and Champagne Glimmer Paper.  Love this color combo!

Here's another variation of the Ornament Keepsakes Holiday Ornament created with the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle in Real Red and Early Espresso.  She used the round ornaments shapes and embellished with the Crumb Cake Tulle and Snow Flurry die.

The Ornament Keepsakes Bundle is great for making easy mini-ornaments for your tree, too!  Simply stamp and die-cut four to six of the same image, score down the centers and adhere back-to-back.  Also featured: White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and White Baker's Twine hangers, and Cherry Cobbler Sweater Trim as tree trimmings.

Carmen - ornament glimmer

Created by Carmen DeBruce, Too Cool Demo Team.

The Ornament Punch is used on this card to create a window in Glossy White Card Stock.  I love the Red Glimmer Paper showing through the window that's decorated with a Dotted Scallop punched border of Silver Glimmer Paper.  The background is more Glossy White card stock, texture embossed with the retired Snow Burst Folder, but you could easily swap that out for Petals-A-Plenty or Perfect Polka Dots.  Also featured: Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment, Word Window Punch, and Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
