We only had a small group at last night's monthly Stamp Club event, but everyone who attended had fun making our projects, especially the card using the Stocking Builder Buffet table!
Everyone chose the color of card base they wanted, stamped their Stitched Stockings in the colors they desired, and selected their favorite accessories to embellish the stockings. I gave them lots of examples for inspiration (which you can see on this post).
Let's see how they all turned out!
Vicki Luebke selected Concord Crush with Pear Pizzazz accents. The stockings, trimmed with Silver Glimmer Paper, are hung by 1/8" White Taffeta Ribbon loops, and are layered on 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. Sentiment is from Hand-Penned Holidays.
Peggy Tassler also started with a Concord Crush card base, but added a Whisper White card stock layer, embossed with the Snow Burst Impressions Folder and inked with Cherry Cobbler ink. Her stockings are accented with Rhinestone Jewels and Silver Glimmer Paper, and hung by 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon on a line of retired Silver Tinsel. Sentiment is from Four The Holidays.
Debbie Groulik also liked Concord Crush as the canvas for her Concord Crush, Rich Razzleberry, and Wisteria Wonder colored stockings. Accented with Silver Glimmer Paper and Mini Jingle Bells, they have Silver Cord (retired) loops, and are layered on 3/8" Rich Razzleberry Taffeta Ribbon. Hand-Penned Holidays sentiment embossed in Pewter.
Kathy Kolb went with more traditional Christmas colors, Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz, for her stockings. She also selected Mini Jingle Bells and Silver Glimmer Paper. The Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine gives a lovely candy cane look to the hangers. The card is trimmed with Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon, three Mini Silver Brads, and a Hand-Penned Holidays sentiment.
Carmen DeBruce stuck with a Cherry Cobbler and silver, monochromatic theme. She also used the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, this time tying them into bows and daggling Mini Jingle Bells from their ends. Pewter embossed sentiment is from Heard From The Heart.
The Stocking Builder Buffet was too much fun! I think everyone really enjoyed it!
