More projects from my Demo Team...this time, some ideas for wrapping chocolates, candies, and other holiday treats!
Candy Wrapper Treat Holder
Carmen DeBruce showed us a cute mini treat box that she created using the Candy Wrapper Die from the Holiday Mini. Don't let the photo fool you, these boxes only measure 2" x 1-3/8" x 1-3/8" when folded, but they will hold little candies and sure pack a big punch in a little wrapper!
They are easy to make, too! Once you run the card stock through the die, you'll have everything cut and scored for you—just decorate, adhere, and twist the ends closed! Too cute!
Carmen used Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper, the Snowflake Punch, Winter Post stamps, and the Designer Label Punch for the embellishments.
Mini Treat Box
Here's another mini treat box that Carmen created using Jolly Holiday paper and the retired Deer Friends set.
Other supplies used: 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, and Circle Scallop Punch.
Scallop Envelope Die Treat Basket
One more treat box from Carmen—she blew me away with all of her projects last month! This one is made from the Scallop Envelope Die. You adhere four of the envelopes together to create a box or basket. Here's a Splitcoast Stampers tutorial: Scallop Envelope Box. I love these cute boxes and they are so easy to make! I found another example using the Candy Cane DSP at Gretchen Barron's blog.
Christmas Box-In-A-Bag Treat Holder
Darla Eigenschink used my Spooky Box-In-A-Bag project to create this pretty version with a Christmas theme! (Hey, I was CASEd again!) I love the soft look of the Organza Ribbon ruffles on her medallion. These bags are so versatile and they can be made into many different sizes to accommodate all sizes of treats and gifts.
Other supplies used: Round Tab Punch, Curly Label Punch, 2-1/2" Circle Punch (which is now available again, after some qualifty issues).
Thanks for sharing your fabulous projects, Carmen & Darla!
Congrats & Welcome!
A great BIG welcome my newest recruit, Carie Bulin! I'm so excited that she has decided to join my Too Cool Demo Team! Woohoo!
Until next time...
Angie
