Hi Stamping Friends!
Today's Sunday Showcase features some amazing cards by my stamping friends...all with a "birthday" theme!
Created by Darla Eigenschink at stampgrl.stampinup.net. Colors: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry.
Darla used the cool Inked Impressions technique with the Modern Mosaic Folder. She applied Coastal Cabana ink to one side of the embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot. I love how it turned out...kinda like a chainlink fence. The Mosaic Madness (wood) stamps and Mosaic Punch were used to create the coordinating popped-up elements!
Created by Kathe Madsen. Colors: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry.
Kathe's birthday card features the Sketched Birthday (wood) stamp set and we all created it at our July team shoebox swap. We stamped the balloons three times on the Apothecary Accents Framelits die-cut, then stamped them again and paper-pieced them over the top with Dimensionals.
I love the Silver Glimmer Paper, also die-cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits, peeking out from under the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punched element. Also features: Chevron Texture Impressions Folder.
Created by Peggy Tassler. Colors: Primrose Petals, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla.
Peggy created a trio of cards using images from the Best of Birthdays set. I love how she popped up the "birthday" banner across the image here, and then layered the Extra Large Oval on top of two Labels Collection Framelits die-cuts.
Created by Peggy Tassler. Colors: Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Whisper White.
Peggy's second Best of Birthdays card features the slice of cake, which she colored in with a Blender Pen and inks, then glittered with Dazzling Diamonds. This is a simple, yet classic design that works well with so many images! Also features: 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch and Chevron Texture Impressions Folder.
Created by Peggy Tassler. Colors: Brilliant Blue and Lucky Limeade (both retired).
Designed by Vicki Hinen. CASEd from someone...is it you? Colors: Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple, Bermuda Bay, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Summer Starfruit.
This is another birthday card that could easily be for a man or a woman. Vicki features the delightful papers from the Birthday Basics DSP on this project. The Gumball Green chevron image is from Oh, Hello (wood). The Label Love (wood) sentiment is stamped in Raspberry Ripple and punched with the Artisan Label Punch.
Thanks for stopping by today's Sunday Showcase! Be sure to stop back this week...I'll be sharing fun ideas that I found at Convention!
