Single Stamps Availability Extended!
One thing that is continuing on is Single Stamps! Even though they were supposed to be retiring today, Stampin' Up! just announced that the Single Stamps will continue to be available through July 31, 2013.
With this new news, I thought it would be very fitting to have Single Stamps the theme of today's Sunday Showcase. I don't currently own any single stamps, but there are lots of fun projects featuring those stamps all over the internet. I'm highlighting one of my favorite card ideas from each Single Stamp below...
Created by Amy Koenders at Stamp With Amy K.
Towels For Two—What a fun image to use for newlyweds! Amy used markers to color the different towels on the stamp before stamping. Also features: Ovals Collection Framelits, Adorning Accents Folders, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Word Window Punch, Patio Party DSP, Antique Brads, Organza Ribbon, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamps.
Created by Sharon Burkert at As The Ink Dries.
Woohoo!—Sharon used the chalkboard technique to create a fancy Multi-Panel Card with this fun birthday stamp. Also features: Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP, Bird Punch (candle flame), and Dazzling Diamonds.
Created by Heidi Weaver at Stampin Along With Heidi.
You Are My Sunshine—Heidi stamped this cheerful sentiment in black, then masked it before stamping the beautiful Delightful Daffodil, More Mustard and Tangerine Tango blossoms from Secret Garden over the background. Also features: Rhinestone Jewels.
Created by Betty Saccocia at Booptique's Blog.
Spec-Tacular—Betty colored the different frames in neutral colors, highlighting only one in Melon Mambo to go along with the "There's Only One You" sentiment from Vintage Verses (retired). Also features: 3/8" Basic Black Taffeta and Soda Pop Tops.
Created by Anne-Marie Hile at Stampin' Anne.
Oh, Baby!—A fun image for expectant mothers! Anne-Marie this pretty card with paper flowers from the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, both textured with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Also features: Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon, Finishing Touches Edgelits, and Rhinestone Jewels (in that pony tail, too!)
Created by Erica Cerwin at Pink Buckeroo Designs.
Hello, Hello—Such pretty layers! Erica colored the stamp with Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit markers, then cut out Ovals Collection Framelits layers. Also features: Flower Trim, Print Poetry DSP Stack, and Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Created by Janet Baker and Jessica Wilstead at Snippets & Pretties.
Hello, Foxy!—I love the creative ways that Janet and Jessica used this whimsical stamp. Also features: Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Punch Pack and Rhinestone Jewels.
Created by Bonnie Klass at Stamping with Klass.
Ears To You—What a cute card...look at those cute bunny tails! Bonnie stamped the bunnies and cut them out to play amongst the free-handed grass. Also features: Vine Street Embossing Folder (available again with the new catalog in June), and Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Created by Deb Crowley at ExpressivelyDeb.com.
Created by Meg Holland at Megumi's Stampin' Retreat.
Basic Label—This versatile frame coordinates perfectly with the Apothecary Accents Framelits shape. Meg used it with the perfectly sized You're Amazing birthday sentiment. Also features: That's The Ticket stamps, Ticket Builder Punch, World Spectacular DSP and In Color Designer Printed Brads.
I hope you enjoyed a little tour through the Single Stamps! The best part about these individual images is the price—ranging from only $5.95 to $7.95!
