Hi Stamping Friends!
It's hard to believe the holiday stamping season is coming to an end for 2015. I just wrapped up my final holiday private class yesterday (waves to Gail & friends) and I'll be having my final 2015 holiday class on Wednesday (see you soon Snow Place stampers). I'll be spending this week finishing up my personal Christmas cards and sharing some of my final holiday ideas with you!
Today, I've got a super-quick treat holder that makes a great little gift or favor addition to your holiday place-setting!
But first, a couple quick reminders...
- Need It By Christmas? Order by December 17—If you need any last-minute creative gifts, place your order by December 17 to receive it by Christmas.
- Year-End Sale continues on, but items are starting to sell out! Get them while supplies last!

Holidays Fancy Foil "Sour Cream" Treat Containers
Sour Cream Container Basics—I started with a 6" square piece of Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum, but you can start with any size square depending on the size or amount of treats to put inside it. Add Tear & Tape Adhesive to two adjacent sides. Peel off the paper from the tape, then roll the paper into a tube shape and adhere the ends together. Then, flatten the end that has adhesive down so that the edges stick together.
SAVE! Holidays Fancy Foil Vellum is on sale right now during the Year-End Sale!
Permanent Closure—Once you fill the container with treats, you can flatten the other end of the container in the opposite direction and secure it closed. For a permanent closure that the recipient must tear open, adhere it with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Temporary Closure—If you want to be able to re-open the container easily, flatten the end, punch a 1/8" hole through it and string it with some ribbon. I tied mine with the Real Red & Garden Green 1/8" Striped Holiday Ribbon.
Crimped End—I used my long-ago-retired Crimper Tool to add a little crimped detail to the ends. It's not necessary, but it's the perfect touch if you happen to have this tool.
Ornament Tag—I decorated my container with a pretty tag created with the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits. The decorative layer is die-cut from Red Glimmer Paper and it's backed with a solid die-cut ornament shape in Whisper White. It tied it onto the container with Silver Cording trim.
That's it! Done in a matter of minutes!
