Hi Stamping Friends!

It's going to be a beautiful day today in Fort Wayne and I'm so looking forward to it!  I'm going to spend the weekend getting some projects done around the house, playing with my puppies, enjoying a long bike ride, hanging out with my family and stamping with new catalog pre-order products that just showed up on my doorstep last night!  What do you have planned for the weekend?  I hope it's a great one for you!

Today, I've got another pretty pair of cards that feature the beautiful papers from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP and other products from the Gotta Have It All Bundle

Share What You Love Thank You Cards

When I adore designer series paper as much as I do the Share What You Love Specialty DSP, I like to find card designs that really feature it!  So, I tried a classic card layout with two panels of DSP and a simple sentiment focal point.  It's so much fun to mix & match the papers for different looks!  Try this style of card for stamping a stack of thank you or thinking of you cards to keep on hand, or to created a gift set of cards for someone special.

Background Basics—I layered a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" floral piece and 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of striped Share What You Love Specialty DSP side-by-side onto a 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White cardstock foundation.

Then, I wrapped a piece of the 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon around the seam, securing the ends on the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  It was mounted onto a Rich Razzleberry card base.

Focal Point—I stamped the Love What You Do "thank you" greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2-1/8" diameter circle die-cut with the Layering Circles Framelits.  The flowers were around the sentiment then colored in with Grapefruit Grove ink and a Blender Pen.

Finishing Touches—The circle was layered onto a Pearlized Doily that I colored with Tranquil Tide ink and a Sponge Dauber.  The smooth surface is not very absorbent, so it leaves a soft, barely tinted color. The focal point was popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.  I finished by adding some Pearl Jewels to a few of the flowers.

Two Cool—The second version features the pearlized floral and colorful dotted patterns on the Share What You Love DSP.  This time, they were layered onto an Old Olive card base.

Focal Point—I sponged Rich Razzleberry ink to the doily for a light pink border.  The flowers were colored with Tranquil Tide and topped with Share With You Love Artisan Pearls.
