Heartfelt Blooms Card For “Last Thursdays”

The Heartfelt Blooms flower image has such superior detail that it literally took my breath away when I first used it! Seriously, it is so gorgeous!  When a stamp is that awesome on its own, you don't need to add a lot of extra frills. I kept the card fairly monochromatic and let the stamp's elegance shine through!

Background Basics—I started by adhering a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" layer of Fresh Fig cardstock to a 4-1/78" x 3-5/8" layer of Silver Foil.  Next, I inked up the Heartfelt Blooms image in Fresh Fig ink and stamped it off the bottom edge of a 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White.  After adhering that to the background, I wrapped a strip of the Fresh Fig Woven Ribbon around the layer and secured the ends on the back with Tear & Tape.  The whole background layer was popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Heartfelt Blooms sentiment in Memento Black Ink onto Sweet Sugarplum cardstock, then die-cut it with the Petals & More Thinlits dies.  It's popped up with more Dimensionals and accented with Rhinestone Jewels. 

Two Cool—I tried the same elements with a Dapper Denim and Pool Party color combination in a vertical style card.  I swapped out the Finely Woven Ribbon for some Dapper Denim Baker's Twine that gives this version a more casual look.
