Earn $25 Extra Hostess Dollars In October!

It's time to party!  This month only, Stampin' Up! is celebrating its 25th anniversary by giving hostesses an extra $25 Hostess Dollars when they host a workshop of $250 or more.  That means you would have at least $65 dollars to spend on anything from the current catalog merchandise!  Woohoo!

Let's Get Your Party On The Calendar!

I've opened up several extra dates on my calendar to give my hostesses plenty of opportunity to schedule a workshop, private class, or holiday card stamp-a-stack.  With the new Hostess Codes, it's easier than ever to gather orders from friends all across the country to help you earn these extra benefits!  You could even host an online-only catalog party!  Contact me for more details!

The Party More, Get More special ends October 31, 2013.

Darla - maple leaf copy

I didn't want to leave without a quick project idea!  This one is courtesy of my Too Cool Demo Team member Darla Eigenschink, who shared it at our team meeting last month.

I love the faux-wood background that she made by sweeping a Soft Suede ink pad over the top of a Crumb Cake card base.  It looks like distressed wood!  Too Cool!

Jodi - maple leaf 2 copy

She inked the Magnificent Maple single stamp with Cajun Craze ink, then colored in the edges with an Early Espresso Marker before stamping onto Whisper White card stock.  She die-cut the image with the Labels Collection Framelits, then used the Festive Paper Piercing templates to add pierced detailing around the edge.  That is layered onto an Early Espresso Circles Collection Framelit die-cut.

She finished off the card with a sentiment from Truly Grateful (wood) in Early Espresso on a Crumb Cake banner.  Then adorned the side with a Cajun Craze Regal Button and a crinkly thread from the 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon

What a pretty and quick autumn card!  Thanks for sharing, Darla!

You can find supplies to make this project at my Online Store!
