Natural wetlands - two cool

I've been wanting to do a class card with the Wetlands stamp set ever since the came out in June!  I LOVE it SO, SO MUCH!  It's so versatile and one of the few sets that has a masculine feel.

Natural wetlands - thinking

The monochromatic look is so warm and rustic.  I used a Soft Suede card base with accents in Baked Brown Sugar.  I started by stamping the reeds image in Soft Suede along the bottom.

The goose is stamped in Soft Suede onto a 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  I tore the edge, then sponged it with some Baked Brown Sugar ink.

After adding a sentiment at the bottom, I mounted the stamped piece onto a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Baked Brown Sugar card stock.

I wrapped the element with some 3/8" Naturals Trim Ribbon and secured it through the layers with an Antique Brad. It's adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

CASEd from Lyssa Zwolanek at Song of My Heart Stampers.

This version was nearly identical to the one I saw online by Lyssa Zwolanek.

The only thing I did differently was add a second popped-up layer over the goose.
