I got all my Best of Butterflies Kits packed up and shipped off to my Best of 25 Years club members this week. It's so much fun to create 3 "surprise" cards for them every month and I hope they are enjoying the projects! These two cool cards are one of the projects I designed for the kit.
Of course, this month's Best of Butterflies set was extra fun to work with because I'm still enjoying my extended butterfly theme. Honestly, I didn't know I liked butterflies so much, but apparently, I really do!

These cards feature the soon-to-retire Bashful Blue card stock, along with the exclusive new image that coordinates with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
The background has a piece of 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" Pacific Point Designer Series Paper from the Brights Collection.
It's actually a little sad that I covered up that pretty butterfly image, but I couldn't resist layering coordinating Bitty Butterfly punches on top in Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue and Pacific Point. I just love that layered look, and the borders around the butterfly wings still look fantastic peeking out from under the punches. Rhinestone Jewels on each one—of course!
This project has lots of little details…like the Daffodil Delight Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border along the edge of the 3-1/4" x 4" Whisper White panel. I also added a 3/4" x 2" Bashful Blue mini banner that was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder and fish-tailed. The finishing touch is the Brights Button with a little White Baker's Twine tie to bring in another element in Daffodil Delight.
I shuffled around the elements, and used the polka dot patterned paper, on the second version for an equally pretty card. The Lacy & Lovely stamp set provides the sentiment in Pacific Point ink.
