Too Cool Demo August Showcase—Part 2

Between my Stamp Club and Demo Team, I can't believe the wealth of project ideas I have to share with you!  Are you enjoying the showcases?!  I certainly am!  I love to be inspired by others' creations!

Here is another collection of non-Christmas projects from my team!

Demo - darla berry blossoms 1

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Featuring the new Precious Butterflies Hostess set and new Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper.

Demo - darla berry blossoms slider

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  This simple pocket card also features the Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper, plus the new Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon!  I think the folded over pocket is held together with the ribbon with no adhesive.

I wasn't sure I was going to like the Berry Blossoms paper, but I think Darla has convinced me to try it out!  You can too…at a discount!  Don't forget about the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE Designer Series Paper Promotion going on through August 31, 2011, only!

Demo - tammy birthday

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  The background is created with three of the Builder Wheels: Birthday, Candle Crazy, and So Many Stars.  I need to get mine out and dust them off!  I can't for the life of me remember the name of the center birthday stamp, but I think it's an individual stamp that is retired.  Anyone remember?  But, I love how that stamp is layered on the angled Top Note.  Fun!

Demo - bird bookmark darla   Demo - darla strength bookmark

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Bookmark #1 features the Bird Punch layered on a background stamped with Baroque Motifs and Charming images.  It's finished off with a Scallop Circle Punch and Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon

Bookmark #2 is created with the Strength & Hope set that's only available until the end of August.  ($2 of the proceeds of that set goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  Detail here).  This one is finished off with a Scallop Circle Punch and Cherry Cobbler 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

Demo - Carmen mary kay cards

Created by Carmen DeBruce.  Her daughter sells Mary Kay and needed some thank you cards, so Carmen whipped up some of these cute cards in the Mary Kay colors.  I love how she used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punches as a border, and the Pretty In Pink Satin Bow makes it look so classy!

Demo - darla embed emboss 1   Demo - darla embed emboss 2

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  These Two Cool cards were cased from Dawn Griffith's Embedded Embossing cards.  Punched out circles of various sizes are adhered to the background, then it's embossed with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder!  I love the crisp, clean look!  Sentiments are from Strength & Hope (card #1) and retired Hello Again (card #2).  A couple days ago, I showed you Carmen's mini versions of these cards.

Demo - kari shimmer flower

Created by Kari Heitmann.  I love the color combination of this card!  I never would have thought to put orange and gray together, but it looks fabulous!  You can get the look of the glittery flower with the Paper Daisies, a 2-Way Glue Pen, and Dazzling Diamonds.  The background is the retired Sweet & Sour DSP.  She used the Scallop Trim Border, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle, and Extra-Large Oval punches.  And, let's not forget the sentiment, which is from the current, and soon to be gone, Swirls & Curls Verses Hostess set!  This month is your last chance to select that set as your Hostess Benefits.

Demo - darla paper ruffle

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Here's another orange card featuring more Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper!  Darla used the 5-Petal Punch and Filigree Brads for a fun floral focal point.  The greeting is from Curly Cute.  And, don't miss the ruffles!  She carefully folded Designer Paper to make the pretty pleats at the bottom.

Demo - tammy square fold frame

Created by Tammy LaFaucia.  Fun with folds!  First, the background is embossed with Elegant Lines.  Then she made the white layer with the Top Note Die; cut one Top Note, then turn it 90° and run it through again.  The Friends Never Fade image is positioned inside a cool folded frame made from the retired Greenhouse Gala DSP.

Folded Paper Frame: She just took a square of DSP, folded the corners to the center, created a score about 1/4" from each edge, then folded the corners out on that score.  Cool and simple!

Demo - darla nurse owl

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Awwww!  What a sweet nurse owl made with the Owl Punch.  The branches are from the Bird Punch.  The background is die-cut from the Square Scallop Die (run through twice to make it into a smaller rectangle shape), then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.  So cute!

Demo - rose splash carmen

Created by Carmen DeBruce.  I wasn't sure if I had this card going sideways or not, but I liked it this way!  Carmen used the Fifth Avenue Floral flower, along with the Watercolor Splash technique, to make a layered rose blossom!  She used paper piercing along the edges to frame the focal point.  Sentiment is from the retired Occasional Quotes.

Demo - darla upsy lined frame

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Simple, clean, and easy!  She used the Upsy Daisy images in Not Quite Navy, then used a coordinating marker to draw a line frame!  Love it!

Demo - tammy rock & roll friends never fade

Created by Tammy LaFaucia.  Featuring the images from Friends Never Fade, Tammy used the Rock & Roll technique to achieve the two-colored look.  Just ink your stamp in the lighter color, then roll the edges of the stamp in a darker color.  The images were punched with the Curly Label Punch.  Background is embossed with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder and sentiment is Curly Cute.

Democ - nicole fall matchbook   Democ - nicole fall matchbook open

Created by Nicole Dodane.  It's a matchbook with M&Ms inside!  Yummy!  Cover is embossed with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder and tied with 1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.  The flower is layered with a Fancy Flower punched from retired autumn paper, a Scallop Circle Punch, then 1-3/8" Circle Punch stamped with the…well, I recognize it, but can't think of where that image comes from.  Geesh!  I'm drawing a blank on everything today!  Can anyone help me out?

Demo - tammy step card

Created by Tammy LaFaucia.  What a pretty side-step (or stair step) card featuring the For All You Do stamp set and more of the Rock & Roll technique!  Love it!  I found a nice tutorial by Julie Davison: Side Step Card Tutorial.

Demo - darla elements butterfly   Demo - darla elements square scallop

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  I love these so much that I had a dream about CASEing them last night!  Haha!  How easy and elegant!  She used the floral image from the Elements of Style set and colored it in with Classic Ink and a Blender Pen

Card #1—The images were stamped on a die-cut from Beautiful Butterflies.  Pop it up with Dimensionals, add a couple of pearls and a sentiment below and your done!  Lovely!

Card #2—The card base was die-cut on three sides using the Square Scallop Die.  What an awesome, one-layer card!

Demo - darla bride groom

Created by Darla Eigenschink.  Oooh, this is a unique bride/groom card!  The bride gown is die-cut from the Square Scallop Die, then embossed with Elegant Lines, and adorned with Baja Breeze Seam Binding and Rhinestones.  Mr. Groom is some simple triangle and circle punches.  Sentiment is the retired Vintage Frames.
